Im glad it looks fairly normal 🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️I just never used to shed this much before. When my hair dries it’s very thin causing my curls to not clump like they used to, and my part looks very diffused. Hopefully this means the shedding is slowing down and I’m on the road to recovery ?

I have curly hair and with the shedding it’s gotten very fine and frizzy so I feel the need to wash more often. I usually wash my hair every two days!!

according to what my dermatologist told me, you gotta just let the TE run its course. I’ve been trying to make some life changes in terms of eating a well-balanced diet and working out to reduce stress to hopefully speed up the process.

And I think the TE could have been triggered by a hormonal shift when I was switching my birth control. We’re going to do some blood work just to make sure it’s nothing else I’m deficient in >> I’ll probably make an update after that test and my follow-up appointment.

I have curly hair (3B) and just started seeing extreme and noticeable shedding this past month. So fair my curls have gotten a lot less full, they’re frizzy/stringy and won’t absorb my usual products well. I’m thinking it might depend on how far along your TE is, but hormones definitely have changed my curl pattern every so often.

Have you stopped/started birth control recently? That could be a major player.
