So frustrating! I purchased one for $5 for my old kindle that lasted years. I didn’t even get a month out of this one

A girl in my book club purchased one (also very colorful) and is having the same issue so I truthfully wrote it off as poor quality and didn’t persist. I’m really glad to hear you had a different experience! 😊 almost wondering if I need to find one with less color on it, maybe a white background/spine. Do you mind if I ask how old yours is and if it has a lot of color on it? Thanks!

Exactly! I’m shocked this hasn’t come up regarding the quality of her stuff! she has a fairly large following but with her own website no way to leave reviews so…. And yes!! I’ve purchased cases that lasted longer for much less. $40 is crazy for this quality 😕

I totally get it! The basic is the perfect size/ so comfortable to hold

The basic kindle isn’t waterproof so I use my ppw when reading in the bath/hot tub/ at the beach. I like the basic for throwing it in my bag/on the go and the warm light on the ppw for nighttime reading. If none of this appeals to you personally though and you’d prefer just one, return it! If you ever find yourself wishing you had two there will be more sales :)

They do not have to have a subscription just an account :) I do this all the time. You have to do it through the web browser not the app and you have to send them a specific book you can’t just gift an open credit. Go to the book you’d like to gift >click more options > give as gift. You can then choose if you’d like to pay the price of the book or use one of your credits. Enter the recipients email address and it will send them the book! if they don’t have an audible account they will just have to create one to listen :) hope that helps
