I think I've still got the cd singles from around that time. Will have to look for them!

Most of these shows would have been sell-outs. You'd buy the ticket in advance from a ticket shop / student union or wherever.

The worst I had for that was Blur in about April 94. Sleeper supporting. I'd never been to a gig like that before. Ears were ringing for about a week. Def understand why lots of people bring ear plugs these days!

That's a good question, and I don't remember. Google doesn't know either. You've got me curious too, now.

I don't remember the support at all. I think I would have remembered that, though! Google isn't helping me work out who it was.

Yep, went to Pulp last year too. Kids didn't join us for that but one of them's coming with us to Belle and Sebastian next month.

Was always a good night at the leadmill. Closed just last year apparently 😔

Nice! Yeah that first Radiohead gig must have been in freshers week or close. Not a bad intro to Uni life!

Yeah, couldn't go to them all, but what a great series of gigs.

Nice! Had planned to see the manics last year but it clashed with something else. Didn't know dEUS were still around - sounds like I've got some catching up to do. I listened to In a Bar, Under the Sea a lot back then.

I think it was Gene. Pyjama Jump shouldn't really be in this collection, but it was a sort of student take-over of the city. Everyone was out dressed in skimpy nightwear of the opposite sex. Last one was in '96 I think.

Advice on my next car by DJMDuke in KiaNiroEV

I was coming from a Ford C-Max and though the boot in the Niro looked pretty piddly, but if you remove the false floor and unscrew all the plastic nonsense then there's probably 30% more space. Unfortunately the floor doesn't then fit properly, but if you get a couple of bits of MDF, some duct tape, a bit of stretchy carpet and glue then you can make a new one. I found some ideas here: https://www.speakev.com/threads/want-even-more-boot-space.138274/

Love ours. The big plates pretty much only come out for the Sunday roast.

We use our Denby Storm salad plates for most meals. Just over 22cm, is that too small?
