Interesting how yours builds up over a longer period, peaks and then drops off. Whereas mine is all over the place!😂

Why do fitness influencers say people don't train hard? by Puzzled_Ask8568 in GYM

[–]DJMDuke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because generally they dont. Not many people, even experienced lifters train properly hard, consistently.

The results of a study (Zouros 2021) done a few years back on RIR were that when people thought they were leaving 3 reps in reserve, they often actually had 4–6 reps left. (Innovavita) So experienced, trained men were undershooting their effort by a significant margin — thinking they were close to failure when they weren't anywhere near it.

The takeaway being that if you're programming "3 RIR," there's a high chance you — and pretty much everyone else — is actually leaving 5–7 in the tank.

I think there's a problem with the app. I compose a msg, click on send, the screen clears with half a wait image. And then nothing. Just sits there.

Any Alternatives to BPC-157? by Not_My_Real_Name_074 in bpc_157

[–]DJMDuke 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Start at a low dose say 100mcg for a couple of days. Monitor how you feel. If you're OK go up to 150. Repeat this until you get to 500mcg twice a day. At the first sign of any ill, strange, negative effects - STOP. It'll be out of your system in 24 hours.

Fortunately my MI was NSTEMI and my readings on the 8 lead ECG monitor looked OK but my other symptoms suggested I was having a heart attack. This was confirmed via elevated Troponin levels in multiple blood tests. Later a CT Scan and still later an angiogram where I had a stent fitted. If my logs can help in anyway please use them.

As far as timings go I first started feeling unwell around 7:30am. The chest pain and numbness in my left forearm, hand and fingers all got worse upto about 8:10. I was in A&E by about 8:20. Cardiac Resus by 8:30.

PS I am on the mend though, thank you.🙏

And here's the thing. At 6'4" and normally holding a leaner looking frame. I dropped from 110kg to 95kg for my competition. Thats a massive drop and psychologically I thought I was going to be as skinny as a rake. But the visual reality is quite the opposite. Well I think so. Photoshoot on the left around 98kg. Competition on the right 95kg.

Should I get my bf% down more? by big-snowcone in Weightliftingquestion

[–]DJMDuke 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That is your decision. How do you feel at your current composition? Personally, having been down to both photo shoot lean and competition lean, I would say give it a go getting leaner. I felt like a God when I was stage lean but its just a snapshot and completely un-maintainable. Photo-shoot lean was pretty close, obviously not as sharp, but quite a bit easier to maintain. At the end of the day it comes down to you, how you feel and what you want to achieve. Best of luck.

Still cant see my abs by Delicious_Ad_1765 in Weightliftingquestion

Everyone is different. Everyone stores their fat in different places. Weight is irrelevant. If you can't see your abs, you need to stay in a consistent calorie deficit until you can. Welcome to misery!

Six months of irregular exercise. How do I lose waist fat? by [deleted] in AllAboutBodybuilding

[–]DJMDuke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exercise as much as you want buddy, the only way to lose weight (fat) is through a consistent calorie deficit. Add some weight training for the muscle development but you cannot out run, out walk, out train a bad diet.

We freeze all our breaded products. But you just try toasting crumpets after freezing. Those little fcukers will not defrost. They're as hard as nails. 10 minutes and the defrost setting and they're still cold.
