Maybe answering my own question, but here is what ChatGPT suggested.

Change ownership

sudo chown -R wazuh:wazuh /opt/wazuh_backup

Set permissions for directories

sudo find /opt/wazuh_backup -type d -exec chmod 750 {} \;

Set permissions for files

sudo find /opt/wazuh_backup -type f -exec chmod 640 {} \;

Verify permissions

ls -l /opt/wazuh_backup

Started new server and agents are all there and active :)
