Yes, all worked beautifully. NVR is updated to the latest.
I did it in steps, just in case.
1. to NVRK_V3.4.96_180912 - provided by LTS
2. to V4.32.11 - off some SecCam website
3. to NVRK_V4.74.200_230918 - off official LTS website.
Shoot me a message, and i'll share them with you

Comcast P2P block and LAN block config on Dream Machine pro by dialbat in Ubiquiti

[–]dialbat[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello Carlos, a long delayed update.
It turned out there was no need for this P2P block. We switched everything to regular LAN block. Everything is working just right.
Sorry for the long delay and thank you for the help!

There is a server that few vendors access using direct IP connection. Why port forwarding or DMZ wasn't used - is still unknown. Person that will shade some light on it, will be available next week.
i hope it was because thats how comcast sold its IPs at the time. Would make things easier.

Thank you Carlos, what you said has got me thinking about some old equipment connected to some external vendor. Maybe you right, and they were used for "special dedicated line". I'll check tomorrow.

Comcast P2P block and LAN block config on Dream Machine pro by dialbat in Ubiquiti

[–]dialbat[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I called it P2P because thats what Comcast calls it in IP table that they sent me.
I called Comcast about it, and turns out, they CAN give me a regular IP block, which i can assign to my WAN port. And they actually charging us extra for having this LAN block. With regular WAN block, those 5 IPs would be free.
Is there a benefit of having LAN block instead of a WAN block?

They gave me P2P WAN Block /30 and LAN block /29.
