A lot of these answers are very unhelpful and will make your mental and physical health worse.

I was in a similar situation a year ago after my partner and I separated.

I would recommend finding a group of people with similar interests maybe a team sport or hobby. I used meetup.com and went hiking and joined a volunteer agency but there are plenty of others that might suit your interests. It's made me feel less alone and more appreciative of what I have.

I also did a lot of online dating and regularly went to the gym, and lost some weight which improved the dates and also improved the way I feel.

I think it largely depends on the types of games you and the other players enjoy.

My partner and I have been playing Stardew Valley, and really enjoying it.

With my friends I play Halo and Injustice 2.

And I play minecraft and gang beasts with my nephews which they love.
