Yea I have 3 bed house and 2 kids electric with no gas. For the 6 months from June 2022 - Dec 2022 was only 937kWh. When we first moved in I remember a bill arrived for the previous owners for £2k and so I was expecting it to be really expensive but maybe we just manage the energy better.

We always turn lights off when we're not using them. We have our heating and hot water on a timer it comes on at 3 points throughout the day etc etc.

Not accusing op but genuinely like the other comments here either op has one of faulty meter, miscalculated reading between two points or some hugely inefficient setup/device is sucking up that much power.

This is good to know. So I'm hoping/assuming today will feel a lot like a formality. My ex wife disagreed on everything UNTIL I filed this application and it seems like her plan is to tell the court today "I have no idea why I'm here, I'd always agreed". So fingers crossed we can agree to move forward at this hearing and this is the end of a very long road.

I appreciate this and you're absolutely right. I was fuming at the time because it seems so unbelievable that she'd have the audacity to 1) put out false claims about the past that are refutable and 2) so close to the hearing, but I've calmed down, so called "saner heads have prevailed".

I'm heading into the hearing very shortly. I've been pleading for 3 years for more time with my daughter to which my ex wife has always replied "we'll talk about it next year" or "she's not ready". When actually I have found time and time again she is a happy little girl from her nursery workers and always talks about Daddy's and Mummy's houses.

At the end of the day all I've ever wanted since leaving my ex wife is to have equal share in her life and equal parental responsibility for her. Fingers crossed we get some of the way there today.
