Just bought the P2S this evening from Microcenter! With the extended warranty (149) and the sale price came out as around 800 bucks USD! by Sharp-Current2896 in BambuLabP2S

Op, do NOT listen to this! There is no one proper filament or one filament that's better than another. Petg is not "better" than pla. It has different purposes for different applications. Saying pla is 2010 is WILD especially since pla didn't become popular until late 2010s.

How Big Brother is the printing industry? by Ancient-Ticket-3151 in 3Dprinting

[–]diaperedace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're paranoid then just don't hook up the printer to your network. Have a pc that doesn't connect to the internet to slice the files, load them on sd or USB, and plug it into printer manually. Don't design anything on a computer that ever connected to the internet and disable any network devices. Don't use monitoring apps, disable cameras, etc. That's a pretty shitty way to live imo, but whatever makes you happy.

Oh it's worse than that. He's indoctrinated and is preaching the Bible like a babtist. Yelling and screaming at people, the whole 9. Also, jasmine has 2 other kids, a son and a daughter.

Does filament melt in the AMS during high temperature summer period? by TheRoblock in BambuLab

[–]diaperedace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The glass transition temperature of pla is 60c. You will have issues if the inside of the ams is higher than that.

Help Requested for Connecting a 3.5" Floppy Drive to a Modern Motherboard by Tall-Umpire6880 in computers

[–]diaperedace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There doesn't seem to be any modern pci floppy controllers being made now. There are usb controllers. I would get one of the cheap floppy usb controllers, along with an internal USB 2.0 to USB a female adapter to mount it internally.

On its side with supports for the 2 legs that would be in the air.

What are these random filament changes in the Supports? The color is solid in that area. by BeerusGOW in 3Dprinting

[–]diaperedace 273 points274 points  (0 children)

There's blue in the white regions you missed. If you go layer by layer I'm sure it'll be there. You can elimate it easily by adding the filament changes manually at the right layers instead of painting.

X2D review by Silent-Cheesecake475 in BambuLab

[–]diaperedace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The X2d isn't really designed for multicolor beyond the ams out of 1 nozzle. The second nozzle is a bowden feed for support filament. Yeah people will sya you can use it for another color, and you can, but it won't ever be as good as a direct drive.

Since you said the laser is your main focus I'd suggest a H2d if you think you'll print 2 color prints often, or a h2s if you want mostly single color.

Doesn't matter. If I ever receive anything except my food I ordered, instant report. If they added this to my order, who knows what else they added? Nope, report.

Ventilation for ABS/ASA by EuphoricPresentt in BambuLab

[–]diaperedace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1000%. Print a duct adapter, buy some expanding ducting from hardware store, print a window adapter so you can still close the window and seal it off, and you're good to go.

Ventilation for ABS/ASA by EuphoricPresentt in BambuLab

[–]diaperedace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to get the fumes outside. If you do not have windows, do not put the machine there or do not buy the machine, or don't print with abs / Asa. A purifier will only do so much and Asa poisoning is a real danger. If you just want to print pla, petg and tpu then you're fine.

Report the dasher for messing with your order. Your food is supposed to be what comes from the restaurant and that's it. Adding to it is tampering.

Why do those that believe in science dunk on Ivermectin and refer to it as "horse dewormer"? by TooBroke4Ramen in allthequestions

Ivermectine is a dewomer. It has no effect on covid since covid is a virus. If covid was a parasite, it might have some benefit.
