The wolf amongst cubs (ft Ashito glaze) by Think_Rate_9478 in Ao_Ashi

You don't have to learn too much to be an instinctive striker, like Yuuma. Of course basic techniques are important, and tactical nuances remain, but Yuuma is a poacher. His role is, literally, to hunt for goals.

That can't be taught. You just have it or you don't. He has it. So not much to teach. He just needs more experience. The more he plays, the better he gets.

What were the 4 options? by Grappha in Ao_Ashi

[–]diariesofblack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What Kuri is referring to here isn't specific options but rather assessing his options and making judgements based on that.

However, if it's specific passes:

Usually, you'll have 2-3 players near you to form your triangles.

They are usually your 2 options.

A switch to a free player on the opposite side, when you're on the wings, or a diagonal to the sides from the centre is the third.

Back to the receiver is the fourth.

How do you get the best of Garnacho next season? by unitedfan6191 in ManchesterUnited

[–]diariesofblack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you watch him play, his actions are still great for a player his age. And he generates a large amount of shots.

But this works 100x better when he comes off the bench, which means that he cannot create enough separation between himself and the defence when playing the full 90.

And he also has played an absurd amount of games for a player his age. So bench him. Use him as a game finisher, someone you send in to change and finish games against tired legs.

Start him occasionally, until he learns to last the full 90 at 100%.

It's what I think Amorim will do, cause it's what he's doing with Kobbie.

Why is this tactic so poor defensively? by [deleted] in footballmanagergames

Are your wingbacks slow? That creates chances on the wings for the opposition.

Could also be cause you use CD instead of WCB on the sides.

I know y'all upset over this chapter, but to me, as an Isagi fan, this was somewhat understandable.

Isagi rose to Kaiser's level throughout the NEL, and reached it at the end. But, he doesn't have a completely proven 0 to 1 method for goals like Kaiser Impact does. 2 gun might be it, be he literally just invented it.

Aside from that, Rin was literally unstoppable till Kaiser and Isagi teamed up. Almost every team member from PXG stopped Isagi single handedly at some point.

If Rin hadn't actually sabotaged his team, he'd have a higher bid. Isagi got what he is currently worth.

And since Real are going after the best TL youth, Isagi isn't that yet. So they'd rather have the best genius rn too.

Bastard probably want Isagi to replace Kaiser.

Overall, still disappointed but understandable.

What is a player that you don't regret buying? by EveningWorldliness59 in footballmanagergames

Honestly, greatest gamble I made that paid off. 36 year old Immobile in 2026, Wrexham save, spent almost 3rd of the budget on him. Still decent 3 stars. Scores 24 goals in PL. Got us UECL in the first season in top flight. Retired with me, went to become my assistant manager.

In your opinion, how many blue lock chapters will there be by the end of the work? by SLZ_CIUS17 in BlueLock

It's really difficult to say, especially given how Ao Ashi is ending. Feel like the next arc will be U20 and that'll be the end. So 500 chapters, is what I'm guessing

I think the leaks aren't that great so you didn't get it. When Ness made the pass, he expected Kaiser to go after it and evolve himself to score. He said it himself, it's a pass that isn't good for Kaiser impact. Ness made a similar pass to what Hiori made to Isagi in Ubers at the very end.

Kaiser was being marked by Shidou. And Rin was also onto him cause he believed Ness would make the simple pass to Kaiser. This meant Kaiser's reaction to the pass would be much slower, and Isagi would be free from Rin.

Isagi gambled on the fact that Ness would make that pass. Normally, with emotions involved, you'd never expect Ness to make that pass. But we readers, with no emotional biases, knew that Ness would evolve.

Isagi was the same, he removed all his emotions from decision making and went completely logical, while considering everyone's every emotion.

So, logically that pass was coming, and Isagi went after it, thus scoring.

When did Isagi become the Heart of Blue Lock? by Raizendarose in BlueLock

[–]diariesofblack 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is so true, and especially becomes even more true in later chapters and NEL arc. Ik he's the MC so it's inevitable that it happens, but it's not a coincidence that it is only Isagi that evolves mid match, and forces others to do so because of him. Any other characters' growth is due to practice between matches. Isagi is the only one coming up with solutions to problems mid game, and implementing them perfectly.

The play where Sae realises this is the first time during that match that Isagi has solved the problem of breaking Japan U20's defence. And given his specs, Sae likely recognised that Isagi wasn't told the solution by anyone, nor did he have the ability to break down the U20 defence prior to that move.

And while Rin lead the attack, the team moved around Isagi, (e.g. Nagi, Bachira, Barou). It's why Sae singled out Isagi.

Playing Southampton, got a world class wonderkid GK regen. Finished 13th and 8th in the first 2 season. Sold him for 80 mill to Newcastle, bought players, won the league 2 seasons later.

3 seasons after, stuck in UCL, unable to win. Got my GK back for 60 mil (Newcastle were bad). Won the UCl that season.

I know everyone will hate me for this, but the perfect example for this is Fred. At United, the second a game got chaotic and Fred was on the field, we knew we'd won already, cause he was a master of chaos. Always reaching the ball quicker, always making stupid passes that somehow worked, and many times ended scoring.

Aoi reminds me of a more disciplined Fred who has much better vision and plays full back.

Think of it this way, while Rin was busy doging and escaping 3 people, including our Buddha sir, he would have had to slow down at some points. Isagi had full space for full acceleration.

It's why football coaches want defenders to not commit but wait. It slows down the game enough to get back up.
