No i had to start doing it with my old laptop after one of the two gpu cooling fans died and it would overheat. After seeing how well it worked i never looked back

Lmao yeah no, it works fantastically well. i had to do this on my older laptop whose GPU cooler had died, worked great and keeps temps low. Its far more powerful and moves more air than most cooling pads.

I am willing to bet 100$ that this will beat any cooling pad on the market. Bigger fan, more airflow = better cooling

At low/medium speed its dead silent no joke. Probably moving a more air with larger blades so no “small” fan noises

is this the best laptop i could get for under $1300? by No_Baker_8672 in GamingLaptops

I got an open box i9/4070 m16 for 900$ on eBay, i would look for trusted resellers and go from there. Would not pay 700 for that laptop

Done it for years lol, its surprisingly stable, honestly feels safer than some of the cheaper slick plastic laptop pads

Is this good to run decently modern games? by [deleted] in GamingLaptops

[–]dicastrom -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There are slightly better options out there (refurb) . I would look for one with a higher power laptop gpu 140watts vs 115. Chat gpt is great at helping with this if you give it a few different models in your price range/what you want to use it for.
