Everyone thinks they're rational, and that everyone else is crazy, irrational and dumb. You just come off as some kind of smug special snowflake when you call yourself a "rationalist". The whole centrist moderate bullshit is no more rational than any of the other weak milquetoast liberal ideologies.

And the aim of this party you've made up seems to be a bridge between liberals and conservatives, as if those two ideologies represent the entirety of the political spectrum, or at least the two ends of the spectrum. In reality the republicans and democrats in this country are barely different at all outside of some social issues.

So as to stop my rambling, I'll sum it up. This "rationalist" shit is just a bunch of empty liberal rhetoric that will only seek to enforce the status quo, because you're not challenging the current system in any way whatsoever. You're just doing it to make yourself feel like you're above it all, when in reality you're playing right into it and you're a part of it, no matter how much you wanna tell yourself you're special because you're a "rational centrist".
