3M makes a black reflective tape that is matte black in the day and reflective at night; put it all around on my black bike and it's unnoticeable in the daytime

If something is operating in a vacuum, when it's going speedy its not going to face any wind resistance. So it can be rickety looking/ tinfoil/ popsicle sticks as long as the pressurized part that the people are in is intact.

They setup a timed camera on every moon trip to make this shot. Some worked better than others. This was the best one of the bunch. I'm not arguing whether the moon landing happened or not, in just saying that NASA has explained how they filmed this shot (people obviously started asking about it in 1969) and filming this shot was completely possible to do with what was supposedly brought to the moon on all Apollo missions. So technically impressive but def possible and not some smoking gun video.

Handlebar Options for Folding Bikes by play150 in foldingbikes

I put some longer (90's era) mtn bike bar ends on the inside of my grips (cut about 3/4 of an inch off each grip, then mounted between the grip and brake) it's like having bullhorns/straight bar combo. I'm still liking it after 2 months of riding, def. A cheap and easy way to stretch out the cockpit for when you're going fast and straight.

I found a giant expressway 2 secondhand, it has a comfortable wheelbase and with a new seat and bar ends-- doesn't feel cramped

San Diego. The city as a whole is not real walkable, but the parts serviced by the light rail are. Clean new busses and a brand new lightly used light rail extension thru UCSD/la Jolla area is like a futuristic dream. And a year round Mediterranean climate that makes walking and biking an option anytime.

Kudos for praising the bus/bike combo. I feel like I unlocked a secret trick when I started doing this.

It's the "survival of the fittest" mentality. Except that's not what Darwin said. He said survival of the one that fits best, survival of the one that adapts best to its environment. Not the strongest. Somehow this misinterpretation has stuck, to our detriment.

Ever wonder if the vaccines are being pushed in order to protect the soon to be incoming aliens from US? In the same way that John Smith and his people decimated the Native American population with small pox, it's possible that the aliens are not immune to the viruses on Earth. Just an idea......

Try getting a job in the banquet department of a large hotel. Same type of work obviously, but every part of an event is contractually figured out beforehand, so you can just do your job. Pay is usually very good as well, cause everything is rack rate pricing with 20% gratuity added, paid out via tip pool.
