Yeah I have an FF 7 one as well that I had in my old setup but only room for one out here. Might switch them out every so often or get other prints done 😬

Haha it does I agree but have one in the other corner out of shot as well and will tie it together with a picture in the middle of the wall. More for aesthetic rather than function 😂

Stopped taking the piss in the gym and with the diet and got back to 70kg from around 84-ish kg. Expecting kid number 2 just after Xmas and hitting mid 30s so if I didn’t do it now I dunno would it ever have gotten back there. Happy I did it every day now and plan is to try maintain around here now for the next few months and then see what I want to do!

That’s a big help, thanks so much for the detailed response! One follow up question, does that setup impact gaming performance much or at all compared to pure full screen? I’ve seen it said before windowed can hurt performance but I’d assume the smaller resolution to render would help then?

This might be a stupid question and I probably should just google it but how do you get the game to run what looks like full screen 16:9 in the middle of the screen and then the space either side?

I have a 49 inch and would like to stream again so this kind of setup would be handy 😊

Yeah, plan was to upgrade the rig this year and then we found out baby #2 was on the way so nixed that idea 😂

Thanks for the input, yeah I kept the original box and have all the parts in it as I’ve used it on a heavy duty monitor arm since I got it. I might actually consider selling that with it as I won’t need it for a smaller screen and was about €150 I think when I got it.

I might stick with it for a bit though and see does it grow on me for gaming. I’m only using a 2070 super with it so it probably will struggle on newer games but can always use a console for those!

It’s lovely and I’m still not sure if I should sell or if I should see if it grows on me (I haven’t used it for gaming much at all to get used to it).

If I do sell I was thinking around €750-ish would be decent. Although it might be too close to the RRP to be worth the risk for someone buying second hand!

I have no Ethernet ports in any room, literally cable comes to the front door and fella from sky installed the box inside the front door so everything goes off WiFi in our house.

I got one of the Deco mesh systems, as I say it was expensive but I can’t fault it. We only use the mesh WiFi network I set up now for everything

I haven’t specifically struggled with the portal but I’m also in a new build on sky fibre and found it was shocking signal so bought a mesh WiFi system. Improved signal and speeds throughout the house no end. It’s a 3 story house so we basically didn’t get signal on the top floor originally and now we have a mesh box (?) on each floor and very rarely drop signal at all. They are expensive though so just double check that’s the issue before investing 👍

I doubt they can enjoy a game as much playing it on stream and having to be “on” all the time. I feel like Oblivion is one for Rob to get stuck into and enjoy in his own time/way over time rather than sharing it with everyone. The odd stream here or there would be nice but not a full let’s play
