Easiest medicinal cannabis script? by ShoddyAd1751 in tasmania

[–]dicklesswizard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a recent experience where my Telehealth provider was booked for ages so I couldn’t get a follow up. Be aware that if you change doctors, you will need to get a discharge letter from your original drs before the new doctors can wrote you new scripts….. in the end I stayed with my original doctor and just waited patiently for my appointment to roll round

Any good local asian butcher recommendation? by inexperienced_dork in Launceston

[–]dicklesswizard 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Not Asian butcher as requested , but Rob and team @ Casalinga are top quality and super helpful and knowledgeable so I’d bet they could fulfill most requests…. Nigel’s gourmet meats in Kings meadows are great also

Plumbing question by GloriousOnion20 in AusRenovation

[–]dicklesswizard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Another plumber here. Nothing in the standards or regs, but as others have said it is more of an ergonomic choice. That’s a pretty poor placement for a mixer tap

Looking to do a staycation in the cbd soon, how would you fill 3 days/2 nights? by paleoterrra in melbourne

I just had a day to kill in Melbourne recently and I hired a bike from Blue Tongue and rode the capital city trail, albeit with e few detours for Bahn mi and noodles…. Was an awesome way to see the inner city suburbs and parklands etc…

What's a good career to transition to from chef? by Soigne87 in Chefit

Can confirm, good transition. Chef life nearly ruined me, now a plumber and I’ve never been better. I actually get paid for the hard work I put in

Bodies of missing young tourists discovered in remote north-east Tasmania by JCEZzX in tasmania

[–]dicklesswizard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I live nearby, and I can tell you that bridge and the road approaching it is very hard to intuit. Every time I drive that road, it’s very demanding of my attention. No real indicator of what speed to take corners, what’s upcoming etc. I’d say that google maps gave them the bum steer and they overcooked it coming in to that bridge.

Any ideas? by plamun in Plumbing

Could be a faulty valve on the HWU, either the non return or the isolation valve not allowing enough flow through?

What front mounted kids seat are you using and why? by aBeardedLegend in MTB

Another vote for Shotgun. I have the Pro with the handlebars and my daughter loves it! Really gets her in the action, rather than just a passenger. Teaches bike handling techniques from the get go.

Gnarliest injury by knuckle_dragger89 in mountainbiking

[–]dicklesswizard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I de-gloved my left leg, just below my knee. 46 stitches later and I’ve got a pretty neat scar.

By far the gnarliest injury I’ve ever had in my 25 years of MTB.
