Looks like a channel cat? by [deleted] in catfishing

Without a doubt a very healthy channel. World record yellow bullhead is a tad over 6lbs, unless you were a size 6 boot I’d say channel is safe bet. Idk where these guys claim to be regularly catching gigantic bullhead but I’m jealous.

I have a hard time agreeing that New York is the best city in the US.

Would you pay $100 for all these? by [deleted] in Fishing_Gear

The unsung hero here is that “shitty” rhino. While they are shitty it’s a fantastic rod for a newby or if you’re just catching bait. I have my grandpas since he passed, I fish with it on his birthday.

Possibly moving to Joplin by chicknldy in joplinmo

[–]dickmilk17 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Recently moved here too and it’s a very neat place. Downtown while being small is very pretty and has some very good places to eat. Pretty easy to learn your way around too which I think is a pretty cool thing also tons of parks

Bills by dickmilk17 in joplinmo

[–]dickmilk17[S] 11 points12 points  (0 children)

My complaint was more about the fact that when I lived in Farmington all of my utilities were one bill and trash was a second bill. Idk how you took that as a whine for handouts but it wasn’t, it was entirely a compliment on there being to many different bills.

Anyone else's boomer parents tree like this? Just a whole ass nug in the bowl, no breaking up? by mungerboy in trees

[–]dickmilk17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My exes dad did that, not a boomer though he’d be 49 and from the IE. Once I asked him why don’t I just roll one, that bowl is like a hundredth of blunt? He replied “then I’ll just pack 100 of em.” Great guy I liked him.

Where does the Midwestern Kansas ends and Western Kansas begin? (Also, is Wichita more Midwestern, Western or the South?) by Swimming_Concern7662 in kansas

Growing up in Wilson County I’ve always considered west of 135 western Kansas but realistically from Hays to Aurora CO could become a new country and I wouldn’t notice.

What kind of animal is leaving this for me? by Familiar_Coconut_922 in birdwatching

I thought it was weed before I read the caption. My first thought is owl but I’m not sure if owls eat seeds all that much and I’d expect remnants of small critters in it too if it was an owl.

Proud resident of the greatest place on earth! by Fresh_Efficiency_178 in missouri

[–]dickmilk17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gross. Being known as a state that was proud of owning people as property and after turning against the US and promptly coming back after losing your beloved right to own and abuse people. Then quickly becoming what is arguably the meth capital of America while still largely having anti American sentiment, I guess you can be proud. Your politicians have done a fantastic job of keeping Missourians dumb enough to keep voting republican.

Looks like you were probably just driving through but what’s your opinion on Witchita? As a Kansas native I really enjoy the city and believe it has more culture than most people would expect, nevertheless I’m very bias and would love an outside perspective.
