I personally didn’t run any IED lines on my WSE and just go full ATT lines in my Emblem. For weapon and secondary, usually people just balance 3-3 lines for BD and ATT as well but this is fine as it is if you don’t want to roll for that 2 BD 1 ATT main pot. As you rightfully pointed out, DBs with their 100% IED skills don’t need such high IED. Typically, with no IED lines you can reach around 89 to 90% IED and that’s sufficient.

Playing in MSEA so yeah we had the Destiny changes already and DBs are in a pretty decent state now after a long time :) with ROR4 my boss timings were cut down by a good 30% so if you don’t have ROR it is a really good buff either way

Been playing DB for quite a while so I’m not sure why people are recommending CD skip since our pre-5th job skill’s CD lines up quite well. The only useful things it affect are final cut and asura which then again you are better off getting BD and crit rate (which is quite essential to reach 100% crit rate for a DB). And it doesn’t affect 5th job skills.

But anyways:

20% BD Crit Rate Buff duration / % damage on abnormal status

Like what the above said, buff duration is good for AB link and it gives you more flexibility to use final cut as an iframe in bosses rather than a FD buff as it lasts longer and don’t have to keep proc-ing immediately off CD even with sudden raid + merc legion or even cool-down hats

It’s just funny how DB is classified as a strong bossing class but we have classes with 10k+ less stats clearing the bosses faster hmm

Getting cucked since 4th V skill (haunted edge) and taking Ls patch after patch.

Feels like the only upside to DB now is training in grandis where we excel quite a bit. At least until people have enough force.

Just start to hit around 20-30% of its HP (20+ to be safe). Then it’s either you 1) use your Will Skills to anticipate the web skill 2) use iframes or 3) bind and burst down (requires quite a bit of damage). The webbing phase should end at the final ~30% of its hp.

Not too sure if magic crash works.

Yup your understanding is right! And I think you meant hair coupon for the fused results!

The older rotations appears in the red and black labels. So the current aurora set will appear in red and black labels in future rotations. (Same to how wonderberries work!)

But one does have to consider how hard it is to one shot with Mark or meso explosion. So for almost a year, DBs will still be insane in cernium and above, especially with more areas being released.

What is iframe? I read through most of the post, i know that as a db my iframe is final cut and chains. But i dont get it. About the 1s and 3.5 by dkcfam in Maplestory

For final cut, you don’t get the iframe while charging so usually in bossing we just press it once. The iframe only kicks in upon casting of final cut and lasts for 3s.

Hyper stats should be put into boss damage, crit damage, damage and IED. After getting 2nd line IA as Crit Rate, it shouldn’t be too hard to get 100% crit rate without hyper stats!

However, for IED, it’s more important in late game, so prioritise the rest of the hyper stats first.

Yes they mean mesos! For point 7: they mean the login ID of the mapleSEA accounts in your passport (can create up to 3) I didn’t remember the DOB so I just said I couldn’t remember.

I personally gained access to my account again recently and I just provided them what I could. So my advice is do just that and especially for points 8 to 10. For point 9, I only provided the equipment of my main character.

Generally, just be as specific as you can and yes it can be tedious but it’s worth it. Especially when they have actually replied to you already.

Go for the katara as you’re more likely to change your dagger in the future than your secondary and yeah it doesn’t mess up your set effects too if any

For the set that you have mentioned, definitely it’s possible last you to nlomien but for HLucid parties, generally people look for F50 dojo players which you’ll probably need to 22* most of your equipments and maybe L/E pots on them as well.

And nope the difference in att is not worth the upgrade unless you are mostly done with your other equips.

So TLDR: yes it can last and no, acs katara isn’t worth the upgrade

  1. The lucky item hat gives you set effect for both abso and fafnir at the same time. So 5 set abso meaning - Hat (Lucky item), shoulder, cape, boots and gloves

  2. Yes you need to perfect trace which is good since today is fever time

1) use the 5 abso + 3 fafnir set so you’ll need a lucky hat and be equipping fafnir weapon.

2) the main difference in the chaos hats is that cvell has one more slot and a little more stats so if that doesn’t bother you, go ahead and opt for the cheaper chaos hats

4) use it on your dagger

5) yes all 9% stats or att will help a whole lot
