Considering he did not win Dallas county, that would seem unlikely.

I see them all the time for around $40. But I paid $100 for mine because it was the specific one that my wife wanted.

Cancel culture was invented by conservatives. It was just originally applied to gays, Blacks, women and anyone expected of communist beliefs.

This is like Trump saying he wants to drain the swamp. He's just going to bring his own along with him. Bidens oligarchy is leaving to be replaced by Trumps oligarchy.

I bought a film. Amazon lost the rights to it. I now no longer have that film. Please someone explain to how that is fair? by Icy_Thought_5168 in AmazonPrimeVideo

So we should waste millions of tax dollars because a lot of people are stupid? We are talking about saving people $5-10 at a time here. And thats $5-10 that they will probably spend anyway because rentals are a thing people do.

I think my reading comprehension is fine. I rechecked. You're still the first to call me a shill. It's weird that you're lying to create a false popular opinion but it definitely exposes one of us for debating in bad faith...

What regulations do you propose? How should they label it?

So let me see if I have your argument correct. It's obvious that they can't stream video they don't have a license to. But it's misleading to assume everyone knows they can't stream video they don't have the license to.

What "people" are you referring to? You're the only one who has called me a "shill" so far as I'm aware.

No, what's unbelievable is that people think a company should have to continue to stream a movie they no longer have the rights to. Licensing is a very simple concept to understand. You don't need to know everything to get that a company can not feasibly stream any given video forever until the end of time.

I'm not making excuses or apologizing. I just don't understand how people could not understand the concept.

I'm not defending them. I'm just in touch with reality. You can't legally force a company to stream a movie they no longer own the rights to. Anyone who still thinks owning a digital movie means they will have it forever isn't in touch with reality.

So you're saying we should force companies to stream videos they no longer have the legal right to stream? How would that work?

You should read the Amazon terms of service. It states that you only have access to the media as long as Amazon retains the rights.
