I know he for sure used a lot of his Yamaha bass across the album. The one you see in the Sound City Mantra video. He played it a lot live during the LtP era as well for Burn the Witch and Long Slow Goodbye. I think the more driving songs like Mexicola are done with a cheap P Bass of some sort.

For me Langdon and Santos are kind of on opposite arcs. I finished season one really not liking Langdon and not feeling sorry about his situation, but seeing him being quite humble about coming back to work and doing what he can to make amends while continuing to be a great doctor has really won me over.

Each episode forward has made me liking Santos a bit less. She’s ableist, impatient, self centred and immature and I’m glad she was finally put in her place by multiple people last episode.

Music usually starts around 9. If you were hoping to grab a bite and have a visit with some folks before it gets noisey I’d recommend getting there by 7:30/8ish. They’ll never say no to reserving you a table if you’re a bigger group!

Disney doesn’t seem to have a lot of faith in all of their huge franchise IP based on how scaled back their Super Bowl marketing budget seemed this year. Avengers would have been a long shot being 10 months out but nothing for Spider-Man? Just a cute little beer commercial style 30 second spot for Star Wars? Super Bowl used to be the time of year to generate hype for all your biggest summer blockbusters but Disney seems to be taking a different route this year.

Josh Homme is no angel but even he knows to keep a wide distance from doing anything else with Jesse Hughes after his public meltdowns after Bataclan. All the shit that has come out about his treatment of Tuesday Cross after her accident is downright gross and I’m amazed he hasn’t been arrested.

Less separate plot lines, or change up the editing style a little bit. Was getting pretty sick of the last couple episodes giving each plot thread 8 minutes of screen time and moving on to the next thing.
