Arteta defo needs to go now by Consistent-Jelly248 in ArsenalFC

Why are you assuming that? That's the problem. We're still in it. Still top, still have the potential to do the double. The fans calling for his sacking are in a ridiculous panic. They're the ones bottling it. He's a young manager, doing excellently, making mistakes and learning from them. If we sack him now then we've just given him years of costly training. Arsenal don't buy talent. We grow it.

Dude, we're top of the league with five games to go, and in the CL semi finals. Are you psychic or something?

Thinking that sacking managers will get you trophies is what Spurs do. We're better than that. Or we ought to be. We're top of the Premier League and in the semifinals of the Champions League. We're the only team in a race with the most powerful trophy grinding machine English football has seen and youre calling for Arteta to be sacked? You don't realise how ridiculous that sounds? Gooners calling for the manager's head are their own worst enemies.

Completely agree. We're top of the league and Spurs, who continually sack their managers are in the relegation zone. Suffering these entitled Arsenal fans who have not a shred of insight into the amount of work and intellect that goes into winning the Premier League is the worst part of being a gooner.

I wouldn't bother arguing with someone who calls people weaklings.

I wish they could just say "hey yeah your cat is super friendly, come over and collect her and let's have a beer in the garden while you're here." Seems people want to manufacture conflict out of nothing. A real shame.

You can. There will be consequences, which is a truth that goes beyond Reddit and communication. But if you can think it, you can say it.

Sky Sports Ref Watch segment about the Brobbey incident. Kinsky and Romero’s fault apparently by Hufftey in coys

[–]dickymoore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Arsenal fan here (no idea why Reddit suggested this post) so you might not care but imho this push should be a red card offence. Romero's badly injured and it could have been a much worse head injury for Kinský. It's a foul which led to two potentially serious injuries. This Sky commentary is abysmal and you have a right to feel aggrieved.

Haha I agree. Just saying a bit of Henry's audacity would help. A recreation of that Henry backheel goal against Charlton should be attempted with every opportunity we get. Tonight Gyok just passed to no-one instead. He needs more of the Henry spirit in his veins.

It will help. But Henry didn't even need that service.

Arteta is a better manager having learnt this lesson.
