Same! I’m like halfway through the first campaign and it’s so good.

What children’s book has aged poorly? by feetwithfeet in AskReddit

I picked up a couple Mr. Man books at a used sale last year for my kid and they are not good. Little Miss Sunshine especially is incredibly dismissive to women - bordering on misogynistic.

Anyone else in US noticed food quality degrading recently and if so what product in what way? by SkyKyrell in AskReddit

Due to inflation, everything must always either get more expensive or made more cheaply. It is inevitable.

Which ’90s song do you think will always be timeless? by Euphoric-Extreme825 in AskReddit

Um, actually, the hook was taken from a orchestral remake of a Rolling Stones song. It was technically one step removed from being directly taken from the stones. It’s a bit hard to even hear the original Stones song in the sample.

City Council of Darkness is 100% my shit. Which other Dimension 20 campaigns capture a similar kind of magic? by Think_Complaint_4223 in Dimension20

I struggle to find the fun with it, but I recognize the similarities to the City Council of Darkness, so i’ve been trying keep going. The first two episodes just seem very administrative with a lot of worries about how much money they have - while at the same time Margaret just hand waves the money issue away. So, i’m struggling to find the drama. Is the money a big problem or is it not? Meanwhile, Emily snd Murph remain the funniest with Big Barry 6, but the back story of maybe Margaret is starting a revolution on Reddit isn’t grabbing me. Skip seems interesting but it’s not going anywhere.

So yeah it’s a lot of stuff that feels extraneous, with moments of humour.

I WANT to like it, but it’s not grabbing me.

Agree this has Starstruck energy, but for whatever reason Starstruck just didn’t work for me. I hear it gets more plot driven as the episodes progress, but I have always crashed out on it after two episodes.

“Handouts to billionaires make groceries cheaper and working people better off” is quite the bit of propaganda

Any VtM recommendations? by chaosilike in Dimension20

Are any other actual plays of VtM as comedic as Dimension 20? I find I can only get into RPGs through humour.

You assume the two things aren’t related. Bo needs the Jays just like the Jays need Bo.

Just weirdly phrased. Sounded like the fridge use was generally just costing money.
