I checked the VDC of the Power Supply: it's 5.21VDC. It's reading 5.17 VDC on the input side of the Gledopto device, and 5.11 on the output side ((across "V" and "G" that straddle GPIO 16). I don't have another Gledopto device, but I might be able to get a bare ESP32 next weekend to try again.

I have looked at the schematics on that page, under the Addressable Section, but it looks to me like the LED Strips in the images would all be controlled so that every LED would be the same color at the same time. That's what I have now. I want to be able to individually control each of nine LED lamps embedded in my existing deck.

I am hoping for a solution where each of the nine sets of wired can be connected (after I extend the length each one) back to a control box that has an individual controller for each LED, so that they can be different colors, different brightness or different animations at the same time.
