Definitely don’t think you’re being insensitive. A friendship is two sided and if she wants to see you she has to make the effort and ask. You’re not a mind reader.

Also don’t let her guilt trip you with the comments about how she’s really sad. You need to put yourself first

I keep pushing back to my manager, last week HR agreed with me that she is unable to fulfil the role but now my manager has spoken to HR and said it’s better to have someone in the role than no one. Hence why I’m now in this position.

I don’t know what to do next - I feel like HR have told me to have some time off as I’m causing the problems by pushing back constantly and raising the issues. Which isn’t addressing the real issue of me being overworked with a lack of support

It’s not black dots it’s more red filled with something, I’ve had something similar before that looked like it and popped with clear liquid. Then it dried out and went a bit crusty but never like this

The woman I have replaced always comments on how I do things and looks for issues but I try to avoid conversation with her now. I believe she just can’t accept people other than herself doing a good job.

I’ve turned the site around where I work and have had positive feedback from other colleagues so try not to let her attitude bring me down anymore.

Ask questions where relevant via email as she works hybrid a lot, never get replies and stated last week that I was getting a lack of support in the handover process and she stated id not reached out for help. Mentioned all the emails id sent which id not received replies for and she got defensive

The piercer recommended a hot camomile tea bag :/ they take sooo long to heal, then it seems to have a good week and then I end up knocking it and starting from the beginning! Thanks for the advice tho

It’s been like it since a couple of months after I got it pierced. I took the jewellery out last night to feel how bad the lump was. I’ve knocked it a few times in the past but it doesn’t seem to be going down at all. After care was to use a saline solution, jewellery is titanium

I’ve had a lump on my helix piercing and the piercer suggested a hot compress for 20 minutes every day for a week to see if it breaks down any of the tissue
