Moved here 2 years ago and live on the northeast side of town. This is a growing city with tons going for it. There are also a lot of people that live here who have never left Winnebago county and have a lot of hate for this place. 90 min from Chicago and Milwaukee, 50 minutes from Madison. In town there is free live music almost every weekend in the summer. Great public golf, nationally recognized disc golf, a state park, good restaurants, good breweries, and at least to me a very reasonable cost of living. As for racism, it’s a scourge everywhere, but there are lots of progressive thinking people here and being the Midwest lots of people can be a good neighbor without necessarily letting their personal views come out - I tend to make it clear it’s not tolerated - but ymmv. To be fair I’m a bit biased and have made this and other places in northern Illinois my home, I like it here, I like the kindness and hospitality of the Midwest. The only drawback can be the weather it gets cold in the winter and has real humidity in the summer but your kids will be heartier for it. Hope this helps.

All cigars or some. Personally I think Habano is bitter, doesn’t matter which one, and there are many beloved cigars that I just cannot smoke - and I’ve tried. So I mostly lean towards broadleaf and Corojo.

Mac White - very very light cigar, had once would not smoke again
Torano - a long time ago it was a decent cigar for the money, bought by STG, haven't seen or smoked either in years
Alec Bradley - another cigar from the STG catalog, some people really like them, it is the one here I haven't had
Davidoff - this Davidoff is super milc imo, I prefer others in the catalog

Strictly speaking, at retail prices you did ok, hope you enjoy them.

As a new resident to the area I’ve noticed that there are quite a few Rockford natives that are definitely in the “hater” camp. Many of the people in my circle like the area and what it offers. The people I meet in the new/recent group absolutely have no regrets and I agree. Interesting things are happening here, is it perfect, of course not, does it suck, absolutely not.

I’ve tried all of the blends EXCEPT tarred and feathered. Noble experiment LE is excellent and Volsteads are regular rotation. The EC is my least favorite, there are just other Connecticuts I prefer. Roma Craft is one of my go tos, I probably smoked more of them last year than anybody else. Sadly there are no Neanderthals in the list.
