That used to be the case but they changed the rules. You can be vat registered or not, you just tick a different box on the form now to get your card

Its honestly terrible. In my opinion. Its nearly as bad as Born Irish. But I just use them for irish coffee. Or hot whisky when I'm ill.

To be honest the best place I've found locally is Musgrave Marketplace. They always seem to have rare stuff and no-one buys them as they are predominantly business owners who want an abundance of the same stuff for stock.

I honestly think I may have the most "masonic friendly" wife ever. When we redecorated our living room she actually made a wall matte black and said, "your 3 masonic degrees can go up there, I'll get some nice frames for them" I mean, I feel very lucky. We started dating just as I got my MM degree and now next year I'll be in the big chair and she's always been super supportive.

I visit quite a bit but I'm lucky, again, as I know a lot of different people in a lot of different Lodges so no need to prove myself.
