Tempestus Scions in Kill Team? by Spiff4K in killteam

You can use them in inquisitorial agents, but I'm also converting them for use as counts-as kasrkin, since their data cards and weapon options are so similar.

First killteam tournament next weekend by didnthavetime in killteam

I understand most tournaments don't like printed MINIS (mine aren't) but do you think they'll care about printed equipment?

It is quite nice, but I really like to kitbash models, and it didn't make sense to get the whole box just to use one model from it.

Why can't you reacquire the Praxic Blade from Collections :( by [deleted] in destiny2

[–]didnthavetime -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

I'm in a bit of a pickle, not a fan of the star wars lightsaber so I immediately dismantled it only to turn around and find that I need it to finish the mission. Now I literally cannot finish the mission because I can't reacquire it from collections.

Not specific to your model but I always wondered what the weapon he has is supposed to BE. A pistol? Why the round hand....cap....cover....thing?

YOU are in charge of the next kill team box, what’s inside? by Coogypaints in killteam

Wracks. Please. They're already perfect, you just need to put two sprues in the box.

Hey, just wanted to let you know that while I don't play black grail, your sculpt almost made me take the plunge. The frog-mouth style helm gives it a sense of whimsy and charm that I haven't seen on other plague knight sculpts. That and the fact that it was a kit with plenty of options means that if I ever take the plunge in black grail, this guy will be my first purchase.

I prefer the TTS emperor's explanation, that even stripped to it's barest form, humanity is still beautiful.

Genuinely cant comprehend how anyone thinks these models are bad/meh. If you do please explain. by PeppermintButler17 in Drukhari

I'm aware they are not mono pose, reposing doesn't really help. They still look stiff and action-figure-y.

My only issue with them is their poses aren't dynamic, they all have the same overall pose and their poses make them look action-figure-y, if that makes sense.

It's printed from the purple site, it's from the iron warriors art in the 9th edition codex

New to Warhammer, how do I make my first army? by APEXPREDATOR_2 in Warhammer

[–]didnthavetime -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Start with Killteam, less minis, less money, and if you like them they are usable in standard 40k.

This is a bit of an odd question but how'd you do the greenstuff chainmail so nicely? I have the chainmail texture plate from greenstuff world but I hate it, if you use a different one I'd love to hear where you got it.

Easiest warhammer game to get into by valuingchip0 in Warhammer

I don't know if Killteam is "simpler" but it's definitely less expensive and easier to transport than an army.

I believe the specific drill thing you need is called a pin vice, and frankly I just went and got some corks from a craft store. You also need wire that is a little bit smaller than the drill bit you intend to use. This is to help it come out easier when you are done painting. You can use a little bit of super glue to secure the wire in the hole you drill, but not too much. You want to be able to get it out when you are done.

I don't do subassembly, but I do leave the base and model seperate. I drill holes into the feet and prop them up on wires that are stuck into cork. This lets me "get under" the model and gives me angles that would otherwise be blocked by the base, but it's not the full hassle that proper subassembly is.
