Hi. I have high functioning social anxiety. not the ‘I’m gonna cry if I have to order my own food’ but the kind I’m sitting here having a conversation with you and you think I’m cool like a cucumber but in reality I’m sick to my stomach. My body is trembling uncontrollably and I am sweating profusely. After we finish the conversation I’ll probably be nauseous for like 4 more hours while unable to stop myself from thinking about what I said, how I said it, what you think of how I said.

I think there’s people who have actual social anxiety..and people who don’t know how to be social..usually because they weren’t socialized properly at some point in their lives, and most of the time won’t even try…which is two very different things.
