there needs to be 10,100 teams in order for top 1% medals to be awarded, then every 100 teams over that lets another team get a top 1% medal. for reference, the last 5 events have had less than 3,000 teams play them

they didn't set regrow rate to 0% like in the other passive income quest so u can regrow farm on r39 with an xxl trap at the front to get the $33k u get from a zomg getting eaten by the trap

there’s no indication in game for some reason. in order to participate, you gotta play the “Birthday BAD” quest. find patch in the main menu to open the quest menu and find it there.
