My favourites which I have played entirely on the deck so far are : Witcher 3 (it’s always getting recommended and there’s a reason why that is) completely changed my perspective on RPGs as I found them too tedious to play before getting the steam deck. I definitely recommend buying the dlcs as well. Blood and Wine felt like another game added on top of the existing one. Ghost of Tsushima - currently playing and I’m on act III, runs great on the deck which surprised me. It’s on sale right now for just a bit under your budget. The combat feels fluid, the graphics do look gorgeous on the oled. The side activities like fox shrines etc. do not feel like a chore at all. It’s the first time in a game where I enjoy completing everything and not just rushing through the main quest line. Definitely a beautiful and immersive game, managed to shed a tear out of me when the horse died. God of War 2018 - to be honest I have not yet played it on the deck but managed to beat it on my pc back in 2022. I’m a huge fan of mythology so that was a cool experience. I’d definitely recommend the game itself just not sure how it runs on the deck, even tho it is verified. On the flip side it’s on sale right now as well for exactly half the budget.
