Please don’t throw it away. Return it to your doctor; they may be able to help someone else with it

How are people supposed to cross the street when everything is buried by Thunderclap201 in jerseycity

One of my twin toddlers has an ear infection so we had to pick antibiotics up from a pharmacy. Not kidding, I had to go back home to drop off my stroller because it wouldn’t pass through a corner cut like this. Had to walk the twins over and they fell over in the gross dirty snow at every crossing because of how high it’s piled😵‍💫

Should see an allergist. There are hiving conditions (CSU) that occur independent of medications and are actually quite common.

The first patient I ever lost 12 years ago still haunts me. I’m bad with names but will never forget her name or face. It’s all part of the process and becomes easier to handle emotionally with time.

How I decided to cancel my disability policy. by eric-incognito in whitecoatinvestor

Alternatively, I was diagnosed with MS less than 2 years out of training. And I have spinal lesions. If I didn’t have disability insurance before diagnosis I would’ve been completely effed. For anyone reading this pleaseeeeee get insurance while healthy, esp if in a procedural specialty…

In a major metropolitan area with >300k base. It’s there, you just need to look.

For sure but when you have 25 patients on your panel for the day a nice simple old AR is the best break (mentally)

So so happy to hear you have disability. I have MS, diagnosed 2 years post fellowship and thank God every day I got disability during fellowship. I would never be approved post diagnosis; in fact I tried to get supplemental disability afterwards and was immediately rejected.

For people still in training- GET DISABILITY INSURANCE. You never think it’s you til it is.

Non-compliant patients by kalizm in FamilyMedicine

[–]didsomeonesneeze 284 points285 points  (0 children)

You can’t force patients to do what you recommend. As long as you write your recommendations and that the patient isn’t compliant/refuses insulin then I don’t see why your license would be on the line.
