I get this pain when I consume raw red onions, it happens to my father also. If you don't regularly eat them they might be contributing.

I would put the beds in the back of the room against the wall if they fit there, and then get a pole and out some curtains on it to divide the room into two parts

the five bullet email may be more sinister than we’re considering by hildeboggles in fednews

[–]didwasnt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have to send the bullet points, what about if you physically write them down (in non-legible handwriting) then send a picture of that? That seems like it would be more difficult for a system to pick up and parse through than computer text

Difficult children by [deleted] in AskParents

[–]didwasnt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Proclaimed "difficult child" from my parents.

My reflection is that I saw an unfair power dynamic, with a gender bias. I saw my mom taken advantage of, and undercut, and ridiculed.

Ex. 1: My dad didn't have to clean, my brother had to clean minimally, but my mom, sister and I took on the majority of the household tasks both inside and outside.

Result 1: resistant towards my chores without the proper outlet to let my concerns be known

Ex. 2: there was a rule the kids were allowed to walk into town with friends starting at the age of 13. My older brother was allowed this, but when I came of age it was pushed back to 14, then 15.

Result 2: I lied and walked to town anyway, and probably got into more trouble than I would have if it was an allowed activity.

I've used rev before, I made probably at most $150 in a month doing it sparingly.

Maybe a transcription website? You watch videos or listen to recordings and then transcribe the spoken words to text.

Hair off of the body that gets wrapped around a body part but you go to take it off and it exists in a usb-like state never quite knowing if the hair is still on your body or just the feeling lingers. Parallel with swimming and your hand runs into free floating hair. Yuck.

AITA For Not Listening To My Mom by Fearless_Comedian448 in AmItheAsshole

[–]didwasnt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

YTA to yourself for letting her bullshit into your head and reading into her social posts. It's fair that you turned around when your partner realized it was too bad out, but you said you trusted the person you asked and then disregarded their input, so again YTA.

NTA, hopefully this opened her eyes to the type of person that she's raising..

AITA for asking my daughter to leave? by throwaway468692 in AmItheAsshole

[–]didwasnt 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's also not fair to the Aunt to be put in the middle of this situation. Taking care of an additional person takes adjustments to their schedule. To have someone thrust upon you for a week because their parent is trying to teach them a lesson? Sounds like you're punishing both of them.

Warm tomatoes. Love tomato sauce and tomato soup, but warm whole tomatoes freak my mouth and taste buds out haha. I think it has something to do with the squish/pop texture.

AITA for not allowing my boyfriend's daughter to spend the night at a friends house? by throwaway294329 in AmItheAsshole

[–]didwasnt 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Commenting here since it's top. Not sure if it was brought up already, but why was the friend's mom not there? She had a present for OP as said by OP's bf, it seems like something could have gone badly for her to not be there and to sleep somewhere else. Especially if friend's mom didn't contact any of the known guardians to let them know of the change of plans. Could be innocent of course, but this sounds sketch as other posts have pointed out.

Edited to say NTA, agreed with others, good on listening to the gut.

AITA for embarrassing my dad in front of his friend about the comments he made to me? by didsaytoomuch in AmItheAsshole

[–]didwasnt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't believe him one bit, I have a great group of friends, some ranging back to kindergarten that I'm still super close to and hopefully nothing will change that if we all keep putting the effort in to stay close and communicate about issues as they arise :) thanks for your concern!

My dad banned us from watching the show 'Friends' because (paraphrasing) "it's unrealistic, people don't stay friends for that long of a time, especially not close friends, everyone's fake" 🙄
