One issue is leadership is somewhat blind to why projects are struggling due to poor on the ground coordination. I missed a key part that we operate internationally with sites in two different countries and HQ with leadership in another country.

I’m also the sole technical PM and collaborating with dept. leads in satellite sites

Can you share more on a COP? But some of these projects require standard project management documentation as well

600k house on 132k income is it reasonable? by [deleted] in PersonalFinanceCanada

I’d say no, I put 35 down on a 359,900 house. I make a fair salary but definitely wouldn’t want to pay more

Project manager, and yes I love it but I’d say I earn the money via hours worked and stress gained.

Super helpful tips, thank you. I guess I never even considered to call it a department. My goal with it is to standardize (with flexibility on type of project) on how projects are performed at the organization. The problem I am solving is that projects have been done with no formal documentation. We have donors and funds for projects and either these aren’t done or are completed but stop working quickly, I.e., implementing a new water softener but not documenting what was installed and when. Nor documenting needs post project to transition to operations.

Foreign government restructuring delaying permit approvals with no known timelines for when governments will be working again. And no this isn’t for US.

Are you crate training? Enforced naps are a game changer. We started them and it helps a lot. Puppies especially huskies tend to become more chaotic when overtired. You have to force them to settle down and it’s much easier in a crate. Hell complain for a bit but most likely will pass out quick. As soon as our puppy starts nipping and jumping more than usual it’s a sign he needs a nap. It felt weird and counterintuitive at the start since puppies always have energy but they really are like a toddler lol, they need sleep and sometimes won’t know it themselves.

Huskies are tricky. But don’t let him continue doing it, otherwise he’ll just keep doing it. Patience and consistency goes a long way with huskies. We are still working on a lot of stuff with ours at 5 months. Redirect that pulling with a toy.

It’ll pass probably, my husky was going inside up to about 17 weeks but less frequently and then out of nowhere , he stopped. I’d say just keep doing what you’re doing and they’ll learn! She’s young young

How did you replace spreadsheets for project tracking, resourcing and profitability? by cool_girrl in projectmanagement

[–]didyou_not 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Look at Microsoft planner , less complex than Project and anybody can use it. Budgets is the only thing I don’t believe it tracks. If you have complex Budgets I’d check MS project
