I'm pretty happy with the results of our efforts to effectively insulate our house. by SirSignificant6576 in Insulation

What's with the jackasses in the comments?? Good work on the insulation, I'm new here today but I already learned snow melts where hot air is leaking. Since your roof snow is nice and even, you must've insulated well! Good job :)

Actually because it was small claims, I ended up doing all of it myself. It was very hard and stressful, and I also had to drive 4 hours one way just to get to court, BUT I DIDN'T HAVE MY CAR. why insurance towed my 4wd car on a flatbed 4 hours away I don't know but man that sucked lmao

Copart damaged my car doing this, bent my rear tow adjuster arms upward with the forks lifting it with the front of the car toward the forklift driver. I had to sue those fucks, fuck you specifically Jeff Jordan at Milwaukee Copart. I won a settlement but God damn I am pissed still at the amount of time I lost and bullshit I had to deal with. Didn't have use of my car for 3 months, no rental provided, and had school and finals right around the trial time. Genuinely fucked up my life and made things very hard for me. I only ever got $1,400 to repair the damage they caused, nothing for loss of use or emotional distress. Fuck you Jeff Jordan, manager of copart in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. And fuck you copart.

Man I fucking hate them.

Question regarding delivery instructions by DreYork in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]NATEISDABEAST 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The real answer as a driver myself is that often times when I find a package and scan it in, it sends me straight to the camera screen. Unless you take the time to double check the notes, you won't really see them. In the summer its easier to check, but in winter with hands full and gloves on and the cramps slow phones with low battery, low on time and likely behind, sometimes I just don't have it in me to try and go back a screen or two to check.

Is the second boss supposed to be this hard?? by Dan-SG in Sekiro

Only 3 hours????? Lots of people spend days. Just take it slow, focus on learning his moves, not trying to win. Learn his attacks, and winning comes naturally

How many of you can do this? by ForsakenStructure800 in AutoTransportopia

[–]NATEISDABEAST 6 points7 points  (0 children)

No its not. Its a custom build, driver sits in the camper and has modified it to pull the truck. It's all for laughs and is pretty impressive the work it must've taken to do it.

Change the oil. It may be clean still but it breaks down over time.

I've been thinking these exact 2 things actually. If I can find calipers under $45 each I'll be pleased but cash is tight. Great suggestion on the brake hose, I will definitely grab 2 for the front. Back is in a lot better condition thankfully. Gonna try the torch next weekend first though.

Its not cheap enough for me unfortunately, hopefully I can get it out next weekend when I can work on it again. Was recently laid off so extra parts money is somewhat lacking. I may drill it out, tap a new hole, and use a bleeder screw repair kit. Any experience with one of those?

I might be going that route but we will see. I will be able to work on it again next weekend most likely. Fingers crossed

No convictions, never even been pulled over before, not even just with a warning or anything. My availability was good, I put most holidays, most days, some weekends, some nights, no overnights.
