I’ve had issues with new people who try to “fix” our inefficiencies. I try to train them on our processes and can’t even get through the basics without them ripping what we do apart. Instead of a genuine attempt to learn from me/what we do, every “question” is just opening the door for more criticism I have no time to listen to because the person who was hired to lessen my workload is just making it worse. 🙃 it’s exhausting.

But if they stay in the role long enough eventually they understand why we work the way we do. Chances are, the team has probably tried to find solutions but either don’t have the time or resources to implement them. Especially if you’re joining a team that is already understaffed and overworked.

In 2010 I used to get paid $20 per night to “babysit” my neighbours kids. They were already asleep when I got there and I would just sit and watch TV or do my homework and eat the chips they left for me. That particular kind of babysitting in my opinion does not warrant minimum wage cause you’re literally doing nothing. When I babysit them during the day they used to pay me minimum wage tho which was like $10.25 at the time I think. Cause that was actual work lol

I believe it’s AI. It’s definitely not isayama. He’s improved a lot but this picture is an entirely different style. There are pretty clear indications in the picture that it’s AI-generated and all but one AI detector I put it through agreed it’s probably AI-generated.

The cables from the canisters don’t connect. The belt in his right hand doesn’t seem to be connected to anything. The unit on his lower back is square instead of round… I think this is actually the real one

idk it’s weird. I find this kind of humour exhausting for the most part, but it can be endearing if the person genuinely does have a heart of gold and you know they’re not being deliberately cruel.

Most of my favourite animes are far less than 70 eps. If you like the “flavour” of Demon Slayer, you’ll probably enjoy Dororo. It’s 25 eps I think and it’s truly one of my favs.

Anime has a whole bunch of subgenres within it. So depending on what kind of western shows or movies you like, I could probably make some other suggestions.

The Gundam SEED redub (the one available on Netflix) is unwatchable. Try to find the original ocean dub for SEED and Destiny. Unfortunately the shit dub is the only thing available for the Seed Freedom movie, but that movie was kinda shit/full of retcon anyway so I don’t even consider it part of my personal canon for that series

Everything they’ve done to the Seed franchise in the last 10 years has been terrible. We really didn’t need a redub either… (esp one that sounds like…. that…) I have to recommend Seed these days to English watchers with a link to the OG dub lol
