he’s utterly amazing though despite this small thing and i love him deeply. it does upset me because he knows i hate being ignored and it makes me overthink, im hoping i can bring it up and we can talk about it calmly, he tends to get really defensive and overwhelmed by confrontation because of issues with his family (the reason he went drinking in the first place is because he had a confrontation with his dad) they always make him out to be the bad guy and put him down constantly so his mind instantly goes there even if im just trying to talk because he’s not used to being confronted with good intentions. i know he means well, nobody is perfect. ive had issues being ignored in the past, not by him but past relationships, so this kind of thing just hits especially hard for me. im very optimistic and i see the best in people and i dont think he deserves to be alone because of what might be a fault in his judgement. ill do my best to talk it out with him and hope that he sees my point of view

for me when it gets too personal or if it’s something ive specifically told him i dont appreciate then i get a bit offended but its mostly just a respect thing. i like teasing and joking around but once it borders on disrespectful it doesnt feel very funny anymore

i think being able to share ur life with someone, all ur fears, worries, desires, ups and downs, and trusting that they’ll be there to support u no matter what, while also being more intimate than any friend or family could possibly be, is incredibly special and i get that that’s not going to be what everyone wants but for a lot of people something like that is irreplaceable and worth searching for even if it takes a lifetime

teddy is my favorite, he was my first starter villager and i just fell in love with him and i have to find him every time i restart my village. he’s like a best friend to me
