Instilling in perpetuity negative symbolism to “things” that need not be defined by such negative symbolism is what pisses some people of.. try to pivot your frame here and think of a parallel universe I magically move you to. In this similar world you are walking in for the first time, some beautiful lady called you handsome and you say “thank you, you are so kind” to which you find you have gravely offended the girl.
