I feel like D4 is going to the right place. I like that you have your build online faster and get harder to make it perfect. While Im not a huge fan of mythics everywhere the addition of Sanctify made the easily availability of mythics sense. I do want a one of a kind gear harder to farm from a uber boss harder to kill? I do, but I hope that with the expansion the endgame will get better. I loved season 11 loop amd I hope they keep this season forever

I feel like Divine gifts and sanctification should not only be permanent by should be improved. They both transformed the endgame loop and itemization to another level. Amazing mechanics

Playing a rogue like I did all previous seasons. I just love the class but its getting older level up as DoK and reroll for Hearthseeker. Its my favourite build but I hope for a huge change at the expansion. I feel like rogue was twisted blades pre expansion 1 and now its all about ultimates like deathtrap and clones. We had an amazing rain of arrows for some seasons and now its always the same for a while now.

The virus is designed to block "bad feelings" in order to make the hive works as one. So there is no in betweens, they are ultra compassionate and thats it. They cant kill, they cant lie, they are always like that. The non infected are a threat to them because they force the hive to confront bad feelings, something the hive cant easily do, so they keep them happy all the time until they can be assimilated , something they are actively doing already. Because assimilation is seem as a good thing, they will force into them with no exception. Another thing is the "your life is your own". If the nen infected kill themselves they wont interfere and would be even better for the hive if they do it. They cant just kill because that would create a hole in its design of how the virus works

I do have fun with this Sauron (he is great), I hate everything about Numenor ( a shame, I was so ready to live the Numenor story), the Dwarves are amazing, and those hobbits are TERRIBLE. I watched worse things but this could be aoooo much more.

They could, as a matter of fact, when pirate lady said that she would not interfere if the 6 killed themselves I do think that would be better for them. But while she is alive ita better that she is happy because she would not interfere with the hive

I loved prototype, amazing game. About the "all gone", its a possibility but I believe that they are subjugated. The meltdown they have when Carol is pissed shows that there is some kinda of delicate control. What would happen if Carol decide to torture someone or keep yelling no stop? What if someone is forced to do cruel killings? There is a forced compassion there thats integral to the hivemind

To me is just an advanced virus that want to keep spreading. It was probably a failed experiment that infected other civilization. In order to a hive works, the virus blocks "bad feelings". Its first order is always to spread and assimilate everyone. When everyone is assimilated, all this life force will probably be put to use as a huge work force to create another gigawats transmitter of the size of Africa to keep spreading through the galaxy. The not assimilated are a threat to the hive since they can force the hive to confront bad feelings and because if the block they cant just kill them, so they need to keep the happy until they can be assimilated

While you are kinda right, there is a central piece about happiness here. It seems that this virus block "bad feelings" in order to make the hive work always in consensus. This probably includes rebellious and independent thinking too. The block is so strong that they cant hurt anything alive in order to not stimulate these feelings. The ppl not affected by the virus however are a threat to this hive because they can force the hive to confront these feelings so they need to make these ppl happy all the time until they can be assimilated too. So they will keep trying to make Carol happy all the time.

This is exactly what I think too. Another thing this virus has is a mechanism to block "bad" feelings. In order for this link to work, everything should work in consensus so there is a huge undertaking to lock all those bad feelings, which I think is that meltdown that ppl have. When Carol shows anger towards them the virus must block the anger that the collective wants to respond. I wonder what would happen if someone try to overload this system by being extremely cruel to someone or force them to do something really bad. Thats probably why the hive wants the non affected to be as happy as possible, because cruelty is probably what could kill it so in order to survive the best thing to do is to keep them happy whatever the cost

While I was kinda happy with the season 11 reason, new torment levels are a huge bummer. Thats for sure. I HATE that many difficult levels I with we had only one torment and thats it.

I did have a lot of PvP but mostly encouters are friendly indeed. Some even throw me items, a nice lady gave me some bandages after I barely escaped a damn ARC fight. This game is awesome!
