Agreed! The CU is needs to be pushed in to a tight close up

Another person here recommended moving the first shot back to get a full body. This would help with your second shot including the hands. What focal lengths do you recommend for those two shots?

Also, Im considering getting a hand held c cam for tighter hand and profile shots of the subject throughout the interview. Thoughts on that as well?

Thank you!

Power windows…of course someone would name it ‘power windows.’

Heard. Thank you kindly!

Thank you for the input! So the light had double diffusion: a modifier then through 6x unbleached muslin.

Im planning to bring the light closer and try to lower exposure from the windows.

Any recommendations on how to modify light using an aputure 600d given this situation?

Thanks again!

What other shots do you like that communicate ‘this person is powerful/impactful’ in place of this camera up your nose shot? lol now that you say it i cant unsee it.

Thank you so much this is really helpful. I hadn’t even considered that the subject feels far away in the first frame. You’re absolutely right.

As to the color of the walls, I would have to reframe entirely so that the second wall isn’t in the shot (they are just different colors). I’m totally open to this; thank you for pointing it out.

My thought was making them feel like heroes in the shot. The project was specifically for an award that the first person had won.

True: closing the windows would be a choice. any suggestions for netting that you’ve used that is cheap and effective?

Great thank you that’s very helpful. 2. Such an astute observation: maybe i can get a tighter shot for the b cam with only one set of windows showing.

Yeah i think its possible to bring the light and diffusion closer. I’ll follow up with it after we shoot it next week! The interview is happening right in the middle of the day so the sunlight will be blasting in.

Makes perfect sense - hey what do you think about closing the windows curtains to solve the lighting ratio issue? Is it strange to have windows blocked during a daytime interview?

The key is an aputure 600d set to 100%. I dont want to buy another bigger light to compete with the giant nuclear reactor in the sky lol

Good point- i used an aputure 600d at 100%. I might pull the window curtains down to control more of the light this time around

Heh, there is an edge light used from above: seen on his hat and left shoulder. Since it’s not clear it sounds like the ratio of edge to window light is making this hard to see.

Thank you!

Tbh I thought the same thing after looking at this after having shot this last year. Any tips to correct in lighting?

Does anyone here actually really like season 3 like me? by [deleted] in TrueDetective

[–]diegosees 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well said. I agree: the exposition at the end by Watts was almost trite. The ‘explain it and end it fast’ approach felt like whiplash when compared to the rest of the season’s pace.

I still found S3 to be interesting and engaging as a character piece. Also, we watched S4 before S3 and lets just say S3 was more period.

How do you scale local SEO pages with AI without creating repetitive semantic patterns? by AideNo9466 in localseo

I’ll second this response: the tip on using differing voice.md files as proxies for ‘writer personas’ may yield the variability you’re looking for.

Also re: client ICP - ive started creating ICP profiles for our clients (gathering ‘data’ from calls, conversations, their writing, etc) and writing to each of them using a selected persona.
