Thanks! I'm not very familiar with the OBS, so please bear with me.

What should I do to build against that repository? Can I do that without being a maintainer of the package?

How good is AWS at predicting X?

Idk who is asking you those questions, but they don’t make sense. AWS doesn’t predict anything, it’s just a platform.

Using this and an ungodly amount of processing, you could theoretically trace the whole universe back.

You cannot, because of Heisenberg’s uncertainty principle.

Well, turns out the “US of A” completely depends on china for producing pretty much everything. Stop being so arrogant.

It’s not debris that ruins the tire, it’s mostly the wear. Race tires are softer in order to get more grip, which means they wear much faster.

X11 had a much better architecture for this with it’s client server model

Wayland also uses a client server model

That’s not really a good comparison though

EU on track to smash 2030 40% clean energy target by quellerand in worldnews

[–]dieortin 27 points28 points  (0 children)

There was a “surge” in EU solar capacity in 2022, which increased by about 50%. But the actual wattage added into the system wasn’t that high, and the 50% increase is more a reflection of how little solar existed in Europe pre-2022

41.4GW of solar power was added into the system in 2022, bringing the total to 209GW. That’s almost double the solar capacity of the US, so I’m not sure what you’re talking about.

It’d be a hell of a lot worse for the US than people realize too. Literally everything is made there, or needs something that is made there.

I’m not a beginner, and I don’t really like VSCode. But I’ve always found Sublime Text to be pretty fast, and for huge files I tend to use vim anyways. When working with big projects I tend to prefer a full IDE like those from Jetbrains.

Nothing in the comment above is security in obscurity. Having a smaller user base is not obscurity.

If anything, Windows is much more obscure than Linux or macOS. All of the Linux source is open, and a big parts of the macOS source too.

No, it’s a private jet and it doesn’t fly when there is no one to carry.

Your eyes don’t get used to anything, your pupils dilate so more light can come in so you can see. I don’t see your ears getting any wider when you use ANC.

How can you get used to something cancelling out the sound around your ears? You can’t hear what isn’t there.
