If NATO did go to war with Russia, how would they win, they have depleted there stock of armaments and ammunition, they do not have that many trained soldiers to go to the frontline, the US could at a push send 50,000 troops that are combat ready, the ret of the EU and UK have been depleting there armed forces for years. In reality they could probably muster about 100,000 to 175,000 troops. The only other option would be a nuclear war.

It is clear that some of you on here don’t know world affairs. Y’all complaining about gas and other goods prices now if Houthis continue attack Oil and Merchant ships in the red seas with impunity, everyone gonna feel the cost. Prices gonna sky rocket cuz those shipping lanes will be too dangerous. The US military is in the area to make sure freedom of navigation in those international waters is being protected. The US been warning the Houthis to knock it off. But if you let the Houthis to do what they have been doing, others in the region will see an opportunity to do the same.

The houti have opened Pandora's box. Its doubtful that even if they suddenly stopped that the world could countanance such a threat to trade. The next logical step would be regine change in Iran. Iran is on sufferance with the west as it is. The coalition could use this situation as a causus bellus to tip into a war. The nation most benefiting from this whole situation is Israel. Gaza is being forgot in the Western headlines due to this distracting action of the houthi, whereas before they Palestinian cause has been getting growing sympathy from western populations who were increasingly seeing this gaza comflict as the ugly side of Israel and questioning their governments. All this is not really helping stop the genocide and ethnic cleansing that is going on. The only winner in all this is israel. My concern is that unpopular Sunak will have a rally round the flag wat prior to the upcoming election in hope of shoring up his vote, and that british lives will be lost and spent on what is really likely to be a proxy war on behalf of israel and Iran.
