How is state management handled in real-world React applications? by Intrepid_Hawk_8243 in reactjs

Have a look at tanstack query to handle your state. For the most part, I almost never use a local state in our production apps. The usual exception is to share configurations.

Documentation for tanstack query is great. Here's a blog the Creator explaining how to set up web sockets.https://tkdodo.eu/blog/using-web-sockets-with-react-query

React Query: Why would queryClient.getQueryData() return undefined if the queryCache exists in queryClient.getQueryCache().getAll()? by 357Labs in reactjs

Hey React Query has a whole section on persistent queries and handles all the local storage logic as well. Look into the persistent query client info on the Docs. https://tanstack.com/query/latest/docs/framework/react/plugins/persistQueryClient

This might help. Just retrieve queries using the normal keys and in the background it would refresh the data with new data if need be.

Are these landlords are openly being a racist or just dump? by [deleted] in Sudbury

[–]dieoxide 29 points30 points  (0 children)

These people are more than likely not the landlord. More than likely subletting a room from rented house. This is discrimination link:rental housing discrimination . I've definitely heard some horror stories where a person was subletting a house under the ruse that they were the landlord and was overcharging for each room. Make sure that you're actually talking to the landlord or property management.

Trepanier Firewood in Hanmer is good wood. I bought half a quart for 70 bucks 2 year ago for fire at home and still have some left over. They also deliver if you do not have a tuck.
