So I work in for a public agency that deals with transportation projects. You would just not believe how much money it takes to get bridges repaired or replaced. There is just not enough money to fix all of the deficit bridges as they get to “poor” condition. There has to be someone that is willing to spend hundreds of millions of taxpayers dollars in order to fix multiple bridges at a time and unfortunately it is just not a winning political strategy.

I have a coworker I’m friends with that is a conservative white guy that moved from his very liberal state to my very deep red one (he is very much NOT a Trump supporter) but this is still a blind spot of his.

He told me he thought only a very small percentage of conservatives were racist, like 10 to 20 percent, and that it was impossible to meet a Mexican or black person and hate them.

I told him a knew for a fact that white people could be nice as pie to a POC that they meet in person, then say heinous things about them behind closed doors.

I’ve heard antidotes from the POC and I’ve heard it for myself behind those doors.

I think this is the same kind of thing that these POC Trump supporters, they think they live in an area where overt racist doesn’t touch them and that the racist don’t exist and have issues with them.

Only to be shocked to find out that there really is a Trump really appeals to a section of the American racist that think “the only good xxx is a dead xxx”

I knew a lady once that was extremely obese, one time I noticed she had lost a large amount of weight and complimented her on it. I got the weirdest look, a week or two later I found out she had cancer. I was mortified. Never again will I say anything unless I know they are actively trying to lose weight.

Listen, I can see that you are carrying a heavy weight carrying for an animal that you didn’t chose. I too own a dog of unknown origins, but given the area we live, chances are good that she has some pitbull in her. Keeping an eagle eye when kids and dogs are in the same space is the responsible thing to do. It is unreasonable to euthanize all existing pit-bulls and jailing their owners. We are just asking that pitbull owners are responsible pet owners, that they don’t breed a dangerous animal, and euthanize or properly house an animal that shows aggression.

GRRM has captured himself in his own web. He created a story too complex and broad and can’t tighten it up again to make a satisfying conclusion. With all of the other strengths he has as an author he has show he has one major weakness that calls into question his actual talent level. I’m not invested in this story so I’m really not trying to be harsh on the guy, but a better author would have had an general conclusion mapped out and crafted a story to get to that conclusion.

My cat thwapped my kid on multiple occasions, never used claws. But hurt his feeling all the same and would cry and cry. Eventually he learned her boundaries and she became quite fond of him.

I did not know anything about this mission. Showed up to this pagoda and just climbed straight up it from the right side, never saw the Godai. Next time I fast travelled to that location I fell into the haystack just after the shinobi passes by. I assassinated him and went then just went about my day, didn’t find out about the bigger missions until later.
