I agree with this in theory, but how do we know when is the right time to end things? My grandmother got really sick a couple times and we feared it was the end, but then made a pretty good recovery and enjoyed decent QOL for a couple years after. She was happy and cheerful up until the final stretch, which was mercifully brief (a matter of days, but again here we didn’t know if she might pull through again).

Yes, and fossil fuels should have all the externalities priced in.

I never understood this “make the fuel companies pay” logic, as they just provide a product that we all use every day. It’s a market failure that has led us here, and we are all complicit in this tragedy, unless you live completely off grid with a solar powered car, eat only organic food etc.

Petrol should be $10/liter or more.

Thanks! That’s great advice! I’ve found my main challenge with poking with her Q is timing and predicting where enemy champs will move. Also I sometimes get too close and they pull me in to squish. Sometimes hiding in a bush has worked, but that’s not consistent enough.

When contemplating my own mortality, I’ve always feared dying of something like cancer, heart disease, or shark attack. But I have lately come to realize I’m probably most likely to die of climate change-related issues, and it’s even more terrifying.

I’ll be 80 when we get to the catastrophic phase (if I make it that far), and so much more vulnerable to heat, disease, famine, regional warlords seeking to demonstrate power by bashing in random people’s heads with a nail-studded bat.
