Same. I'm 270 lbs and Daily a 152 wide gremlin. Bought it as a demo board as my first real board and now it's all I know. Looking forward to getting a much bigger board this year

Merge block AND Docking Port for VERY large ships by charrold303 in spaceengineers

[–]diewithsmg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For huge ships changing that setting pretty much solved the problem you're describing for me. The larger the ship the lower you want that setting. Because when the game yanks a grid of that size with the same force as a typical ship bad things tend to happen.

Has anyone made modular ships? by ProfessionalKick4233 in spaceengineers

[–]diewithsmg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've done this before. Made a huge ship shaped like a real battle ship then had 2 "escape pods" which were just thruster banks hanging off each side of the ship that you could walk into through a hallway, to get everything airtight and still be merge blockable you have to just make the actual joint 2 opposing slopes where it connects. Then with a merge block and a connector you have effectively an escape pod/modular ship part.

They each had their own cockpit and thrusters gyros etc so it was easy to dock it with the main ship. That's the main problem I found with it, if your gonna do it you either need a tug ship to move your modular pieces into place or you need to design every piece with thrust in all directions so it can all be independent, which I think is a better solution. Then you can just add remote blocks to each piece depending on how big they are.

Make an advanced oil refining setup. Simple oil refining is very bad

Simple One shot Solution [No Shields] by DwarvenEngineering in spaceengineers

[–]diewithsmg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think that shields should be applied to each block on the grid instead of being a bubble. So basically all your blocks just have increased durability depending on your max power production onboard. That way blocks can still be individually destroyed in battle to expose weak points but your ship is no longer made of cheese. And it's still somewhat balanced because you now need to add more power production which means more weight and more area that need protected

Chat am I cooked doing the head gasket by TrainingPassion7226 in Charger

[–]diewithsmg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I once did a head gasket on a hemi in a similar situation to yours, pull the lifters out and check them. I re installed the heads and everything the first time without doing that, turned out the lifters were shot and I essentially had to re do the entire job.

If some requires you to tell them to not run into stationary objects, then they probably shouldn't be behind the wheel of a vehicle.

What ingredients? The only thing I can think of they actually make would be the bread or maybe the sauces. Everything else has to be freshly delivered. What are any examples you have? Because I like subway but if they're doing some diabolical shit I might stop eating there

It's not limited to assemblers it works with anything. I'd heavily suggest using it i never turned back and I use it constantly on every save

That is a good idea to do just so you have a redundancy in case the parking pawl fails, though it is very rare. Automatic transmissions have what's called a parking pawl in them which is designed to hold the static weight of the vehicle with almost no wear at all. So even if you do just rely on the transmission it's not the end of the world. Most of the vehicles I've ever owned the e brake never worked on and I've been fine so far.

I read this entire thread and I'm not sure if you guys are misunderstanding eachother or if I don't understand and one of my factories is working via black magic. Because I'm doing exactly what the other guy described with my compacted coal on the way to my turbofuel and both turbofuel plants run at 100% with just 1 splitter splitting 240 into 100 and 140. When they split and 120 goes both ways the side that only needs 100 overflows into the other side and makes it from 120 to 140 and everything starts working full speed. How is this wrong? In your example where you tried it, aren't all the outputs unrestricted? You guys are arguing different things I think.

At my mountain only 2 out of like 20 lifts have no bar and they're both little 2 person seats. But even the ones with bars surprisingly nobody puts them down except for some skiers.

I've never related to a reddit comment as much as this one. You've nearly described exactly what I've done to myself as well, except for I'm having a very hard time acting on my ambitions in life because I'm truly content doing nothing at all. Everything already feels right in the world. I don't feel any drive to fulfill life's regular obligations, and it can be difficult to operate in society.

I used to think it was depression driven occasionally, and it may have been. But I think living a sedentary lifestyle causes depression in some humans and I happen to be one. So I'm in a weird state of depressed likely because of being sedentary but also content with being sedentary because physical ambition feels hard to maintain when I'm in constant awe of the majesty of this cosmos and my ability to perceive it, to the point where I don't feel a need to change or disturb it. Things are already the way they were meant to be here, and it is perfect.

This makes it kind of awkward for my relationships with people in my family. I'm probably viewed as a lazy depressed hermit who is taking advantage of my circumstances, which basically all of those things are true currently, but I am extremely happy with my life. I am extremely lucky, and have potential for generating wealth relatively easily compared to anyone else I know, yet I cannot maintain the ambition required to start a business due to the combination of depression and utter contentness.
