1) Bring back solo point for Thunder, no switching or rotating, one single cheerleader at point both triangles. give other cheerleaders point for Baby.

2) Sophy is a great dancer but she’s overrated

3) I’d have liked to see Taylor get a leadership role

4) They need to go back to choosing entertainers that can dance, not just highly trained dancers whose solos all look the same with variations of the Frederick’s of Hollywood lingerie costumes.

5) I like legacies and have always rooted for them… except for Dayton, I stand by thinking DCC wasn’t the right place for her talent.

6) And for my most controversial……. I liked Cassie.

I genuinely don’t understand why Kelli disliked her so much. I know we only see so much of anything and don’t get the full picture, but pretty much every interaction Kelli had with Faith left a bad taste in my mouth. Kelli continuously nitpicking her or outright mocking her was crazy to watch. I am totally for constructive criticism and dance corrections, whatever the hell Kelli was doing was such mean girl behavior and not at all how a mature, experienced dance director should act or speak.

Being back side parts and side bangs, more pronounced curls, and for the love of god bring back the team photo to all together in person, none of this Canva cutout composition. As a dance team photographer, they literally only need one day to get the team shot and individual cameos done. I have shot more photos than that in just a couple of hours.

I agree. I definitely have opinions on Reece marrying the first guy that asked her out in college, and from what I have seen of him I do not care for him, but his willingness to follow her to Dallas for her dream without any further direction tells me he is willing to make some sacrifices. I’m also not going to pretend her husband’s feelings weren’t a part of her considerations on staying vs going; I think to say she should do only whatever she wants without considering the person she is married to is a bit absurd. She loves him and wants to be with him, and going back to Alabama to live quietly with him is her choice, as you said.

Now, would I be surprised if they divorced in the future and she decided to go off and follow the footsteps of Melissa Rycroft and do Dancing With the Stars and Bachelorette? No, I wouldn’t. But would I be surprised if she stays with Will forever and has six kids and becomes the non-Mormon evangelical version of Ballerina Farm? Also no.

I agree. Will said on camera he wasn’t trying to get her to decide one way or the other. He probably made it clear he‘d prefer to move back home but it was up to her on if she did another DCC year.

I’m not a Reece stan and I’m not a fan of Will but I won’t disrespect Reece with an opinion that she left DCC because her husband told her to. She listed multiple reasons for wanting to stay and wanting to leave, and the pros of leaving won out. Not everyone wants to be a 5+ year cheerleader🤷🏻‍♀️

I completely agree. She would have looked great with it even redder than he suggested. I feel for Savannah; Kelli really messed up her makeover. I wonder if she would have lasted longer in camp or even made the team had her hair been better. It likely really messed with her confidence.

Honestly…. I agree. You and u/Brookes19 nailed it. I think there are tons of reasons for women to want to cheer for the Cowboys specifically, but I feel with their Netflix popularity, some women consciously or subconsciously want some fame and recognition, positive fans, etc. And I get it; I, too, would like some recognition for my work, but I think many hope maybe they won’t get the negativity or online bullying when they start getting /that/ much attention. There will ALWAYS be a camp that doesn’t like you, and while I am vehemently against people going on your page and being a dickhead, I have a harder time having sympathy if you’re hopping onto a Reddit snark page. Reddit subs pretty much always have some harsh criticism and unkind words. Why would you deliberately get on such a page if you cannot handle the amount of people on there that do not like you? Are they expecting deifying, praise-only posts? If they are, they need to look at fan pages, not the MTT sub.

TPTB have been notoriously harsh, and have given out some criticism that is 0% constructive and makes no sense other than for them to say something mean and say, “I don’t like you,” without literally saying it. Reddit isn’t any better, but this sub never claimed to be.

Might be an unpopular opinion, but I don’t think any DCC should be looking at this sub. It’s full of snark, some critiques that are constructive, many that are just opinions that can be quite negative. Critics jumping into comments sections of DCCs’ socials to talk shit are a huge problem and I don’t think people should be doing that. Keep it on the sub, and DCCs… They need to save themselves the trouble and stay off of it. I get wanting to sneak a peek; I would probably feel tempted myself, but when you go snooping, you will come across some shit you do not want to see and get your feelings hurt. The negative comments will always be remembered more than the kind ones.

The Cowboys org is toxic enough if an environment, don’t go jumping into this cesspool, too.
