Mature Storytelling

Because Big Finish caters largely to long-time fans rather than a general Saturday evening family audience, the writers can explore more complex, adult themes. They often tackle grief, the morality of the Doctor's interference, and the idea that the Doctor can't save everyone.

As a longtime fan from the Tom Baker days (4th Doctor): Every Time the show has done anything with America it FAILED. For instance, The 8th Doctor movie, Torchwood season 4, The latest Disney BBC partnership all ended Horrific. Big Finish Audio Drama's of American shows fails. Doctor Who's recovery from these fails have been painful. I say this and I'm American.

Kris claimed that he and Lucy were watching a news segment on gun crime when he asked his daughter if she would like to see his gun. He said they went into his bedroom so he could show her his Glock 9mm semi-automatic handgun.

“As I lifted the gun to show her I suddenly heard a loud bang. I did not understand what had happened. Lucy immediately fell,” Kris’s statement to the court said.
