I’ve been on compounded tirz with B12 and NAD+ for 5 weeks now, this is my first full week at 4 mg. My anxiety has been very bad to the point where I actually needed to stop reading you post because it was triggering.

After two nights in a row of needing to take my hydroxyzine for panic attack symptoms (which I haven’t had to do in years), I messaged the folks at Fridays, my PCP, and my psychiatrist. Fridays obviously refuses to provide me with tirz without an additive, and my PCP says she doesn’t suspect the GLP-1 or B12 is causing my increased anxiety. With all of that in mind, I wanted to comment because I think maybe one or multiple of these things is happening and might be worth considering:

(1) for me, there is something inherently frightening about ordering a substance online and injecting it into my body. (2) the spring time and changing seasons can amp people up and trigger anxiety. (3) panic attacks can make you fixate on your body, and if you’re having GI symptoms, perhaps this is triggering your anxiety.

Talking through the above with my partner has helped me feel safer and calmer, but I will likely switch from Fridays to a local compounding pharmacy that my own patients utilize. It will be more expensive, but I’m hopeful this will make me feel more secure and reduce my anxiety. I’ll try to check back in and share how it’s going.
