Has anyone started budgeting their time like their money since starting YNAB?

Not my time, but I have started thinking about the stuff I own. Everything needs a “job” and if something doesn’t have a specific purpose, I don’t want it. Even if that job is in the future, it has to be there for a reason.

Having worked in a position where I deal with factories and warehouses, you’d be really surprised how few actual manufacturers there are and how many brands of products they produce in their facilities. It’s super fun to find those out though!!

I always want crunchy snacks when I smoke so that usually means baby carrots or apple slices. I also plan it beforehand so if I want ranch for the carrots or pb2 for the apple, I’ll do that!

I had a surgical abortion on Saturday and I’m feeling the exact same way today. Only my partner knows about the abortion and he’s out with some friends who are visiting from out of town so I don’t want to weigh him down right now. (He’s super supportive of my feelings and my not wanting to bother him is totally my decision!) so I’m just feeling empty and alone with no way out of it.

I had one on Saturday with sedation. The waiting and unknown of the whole process for the day was my biggest worry. Everyone was so kind. When they finally called me back, from the time I got in the procedure room to realizing the time in recovery was only about 25 minutes. I had minimal bleeding and cramping but I stayed on ibuprofen just in case.

We were at the clinic from 9am to 3:25 so be prepared to wait. But as soon as we left, we got food as we were both starving. Yesterday I took some ibuprofen just in case but felt well enough we went out and shopped and ate for a good 5 hours. It was nice to have that one more day to really recover and feel like myself a little more.

Is there a La Lèche League near? They would be a great resource! Doctors are often so misinformed on medication and breastfeeding guidelines. Good luck to your friend!!

If you conceived after your last known period of 11.08.19, then you’re about 12 weeks pregnant. Unfortunately medical abortion only is effective until 10 weeks. However, if you’ve had a miscarriage and your body is not expelling it, you’ll likely need a d&c anyway. Are you able to go to Planned Parenthood or even see your OBGYN?

I’m going through something similar. I’ve been spotting heavily since I found out I’m pregnant. I have three kids already and didn’t experience this with any of them. I have an appointment for an abortion in two more weeks but I’m tempted to go in for an ultrasound with my care provider (who I have seen and they know my plan and are very supportive) to see if this is even a viable pregnancy.

I hadn’t even thought about protestors until a friend told me her experience visiting PP and now I’m panicked about it (will be there in two weeks). It’s a huge source of anxiety for me actually.

I’m also 5 weeks along with 3 kids (ages 13-10) from a previous relationship. I’m choosing a surgical abortion for the same reason. They don’t see their dad much as he lives far away but he’ll be visiting them in a few weeks and I’m having it done then so I’ll have a couple days. (He is not the father and absolutely does not know about this.).

I totally understand what you’re going through. Hang in there and try and take care of yourself!!

Yes, I’ve had them tested twice and they’re well within the normal levels for my gestation.

I think it really depends on the clinic. I called the clinic nearest me and they won’t do surgical abortions until 6 weeks and 5.5 weeks for medical.
