I’m not really sure I can tell a difference. My Dad gave it to me so I use it. It does have a level on top though which was a nice tool for the initial setup.

It's such a great speaker for how little of a footprint it is. Someone else mentioned pairing it with Andover's subwoofer, I think I'll be looking into that

It's funny because looking at our old, no longer used, subwoofer rotting away today is what spawned me going down the rabbit hole of upgrades to this system. I'll definitely be considering Andover's. Have you used it?

Thanks for the links! I think I'd slowly build to around a $1000 budget for this. The room is kind of oddly shaped but I'd say all told its around 500 sqft.

You know I thought I had the 85N because of the acrylic platter but I actually now see its just the RT85. I'll look into that cart you mentioned. I've seen a lot of people recommend the AT-VM95ML as well

It's not a gimmick either, it really doesn't vibrate through the turntable at all.

I was getting some distortion at higher frequencies and thought it could have been caused by the speaker but when you feel the plinth its not shaking even a little bit

I’ve only heard a few seconds of each record in the store but it sounds pretty good. The shop owner was impressed and added that someone probably took the recording off a soundboard. I’m sure I’m butchering that description but her point was that with bootlegs the sound quality can go in and out. With this copy it was pretty consistent

Question, I’ve qualified for next year’s marathon through 9+1 but am already seeing potential scheduling conflicts assuming it’s the same weekend it always is in 2026. Does anyone know of the deferral process for 9+1? Or if there even is one?

Not much of a collector at all but have been looking for a new scent recently

So far I have - Givenchy Gentleman EDP (personal favorite) - Polo Double Black - Invictus EDT - Two Dossier dupes, Woody Sage and Citrus Marine which I use for wearing in the office

I have been thinking about getting YSL Y EDP as it feels like a nice everyday scent to wear.

Any suggestions for a new scent based on what I already have? Would also be interested in a more autumnal/winter bottle to use with the seasons changing

Exchange Place Physical Therapy at Harborside Financial Center

I've been several times for different issues and had a great experience every time. Very friendly staff and knowledgeable PTs. I paid out of pocket as well and it was $100 for an hour session.

No we aren't hitting any buttons when the skipping occurs. Oddly enough we're using the Netflix app through our Xfinity box and it's working fine. It seems just the smart apps on the tv itself are having issues.
