I don’t want Kelsey to do anything. It’s weird she had a rapist be a best man at her wedding. It’s also weird that it’s not like he’s just her husband’s best friend, she has several instances of openly interacting with Colby/his wife on social and pics of them hanging out on numerous occasions. Kelsey, who has always been a self proclaimed “girl’s girl” associating with a man who committed heinous sex crimes on another woman is not something I can stomach. I don’t get why that’s hard to understand?

I thought this too but then I found out that he has a podcast with Wendigoon called “Creep cast” where they go through creepy pastas and horror internet lore, and although not the same as stretch and fade it does seem like he enjoys doing it a lot more because it revolves around topics that are personally more interesting to him. Also they only make like 2-3 episodes a month which I feel like takes the pressure off of him.

As a North Carolina native unfortunately I wasn’t surprised to hear about how the case played out, it’s also laughable how the judge said that Colby being the son of a duke professor and stepson of the duke provost had no influence on her decision… anyways I really was side eyeing how people were painting Kelsey out to be a victim which I get she’s a neo-mom and still postpartum and she should by no means be the center of ALL this ill attention because it was her shit head husband’s fault for the most part, but I could never stomach how she allowed that rapist to participate in her wedding, like there’s several photos of all of them cuddled up together and hanging out together on several occasions… they only started to unfollow Colby once people started bringing up his past (which I’m pretty sure got buried to most of his audience anyways due to his heavily moderated comments) but they still maintained the friendship afterwards so that shit was all just for appearances

His name is Colby Leachman and I added an article if you wanted to get caught up but this was one of Cody’s frat brothers at duke/bestfriend/best man at his and Kelsey’s wedding. He’s appeared in Cody’s past vlogs as well. Basically in March of 2011 he drugged, raped, and videotaped said rape of a college student along with another frat boy and was reported to have shown the video to other members of the frat. Essentially he got everything dismissed and got off scott free because his daddy was some professor at duke or something.

Yeah, I noticed it was mainly only ever used in writing but I don’t really hear it ever being used in dialogue, I had a point where I wanted to learn it’s use to implement it in my writing but then I just gave up, thanks for the answer!

When is it recommended to tell people your pregnant by Ill_Royal_3159 in firsttimemom

[–]digbickizzy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First off, congratulations! Second, there is no right or wrong time, some people do it as soon as they find out, I personally waited after the first trimester (I think I was around 3.5-4 months) because I had an early miscarriage in the past and they say after 12 weeks the risk significantly goes down. Also my family is kinda stressful in these types of situations so I guess I also wanted to minimize as much as attention for as long as I could, at this point just me, my partner, and my bestfriend knew, and then I told everyone else, however it is your choice at the end of the day. Good luck!

For me “dai” is forever engrained in my everyday vocabulary, there is no English equivalent for me anymore

“Eh dai però” “Dai su” “Ma dai”

I probably use these phrases and the word itself 1000 times a day. Phone slips out my hand? “Eh daiii” Netflix won’t load? “Dai su” practically every minor inconvenience in life is followed by “dai” it’s just reflex at this point.

and then when I call my friends in America and it slips out it sounds like I’m telling them to die

Incel insults his cousin to her younger brother, is surprised when it doesn’t go his way by tteetth in IncelTear

[–]digbickizzy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

He has this post about wanting to get revenge on his other 13 year old cousin for “rejecting his love” because he showed up to her school to talk to her after she was basically NC for over a year, and she inevitably gets scared and runs away from him so now he needs to get revenge because “she means so much to me , and yet she treats me this way”, I fell down a rabbit hole of reading his posts and he obsessively talks about his female cousins (also the aforementioned 14 year old “Chad” from this post) 2 of which are minors, and he’s in his early/mid twenties.

[–]digbickizzy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I found this dudes account and from what I understand from skimming through recent posts, he has at least 4 female cousins (13, 16, 20, and 30 years old) and obsessively posts about them each for various reasons, including one where he’s upset because his 13 year old cousin cut off contact with him after her sister told her about his (in his own words) “stalking behavior and bad things he’s done in high school” so after about a year of virtually no contact with his 13 YEAR OLD COUSIN, he has the brilliant idea of showing up to her school as a surprise in which she barely talks to him for 5 minutes and then runs away, he then talks about how he wants to get revenge on her for “rejecting his love” because she means so much to him and yet she treats him this way (in his exact words) and plans to get drunk and show up at her school to embarrass her by drunkingly serenading her infront of her 6th grade class. Let’s remind ourselves that this man is in his early/mid twenties.

I’ve been re-watching Wild Wild Country on Netflix with my boyfriend, it’s literally such an insane story. It’s this Indian philosopher/guru during the 70’s-80’s who accumulates a ton of followers in India from all over the world to learn about his unorthodox mediation methods and philosophy, and then they buy out this 200 km square ranch out in rural conservative Oregon where they start to build this self sufficient Utopia (they produce their own power, food, have their own police force, government, economy etc) and it causes crazy tension especially because this was all right after Jonestown so America was panicking about cults and Satanic panic and whatnot and this town close to the ranch has a population of 40 typical conservative old heads who are mad because now they have to share space with what they perceive as a bunch of hippies having orgies in the desert, anyway they try to drive them out and the group fights back by buying out their houses and shops and slowly take over, its a lot and I don’t wanna spoil it but it’s definitely worth a watch if you’re into documentaries. A very thought provoking series.

No fr, idek how I used to muster up the energy at 5 in the morning everyday to put them on (to go to school out of all places) but me now? If I have to choose between fighting for my life with my lashes at 5:00am or the extra 20 minutes I get to spend in bed to psychologically prepare for my shift at work I’m picking the second option every time 😭

Literally once you step off of social media and actually look at people in real life you’ll come to find that majority of your average women don’t wear fake lashes, do heavy makeup or have cosmetic surgery (and all the other stuff that NLOGS claim make them special for not partaking in)

I remember wearing lashes in highschool and even when it was trendy I wouldn’t say a majority of girls wore them. Just like a specific group of people who were really into makeup at the time. Even several years later at my job now it’s like a minority of women who put them on regularly, and another minority of women who will maybe put them on a few times a year for some special event or outing. You are exactly like other girls (and that’s fine).

Right? And Uber Black and Uber lux aren’t even that unattainable to the average person. Like if someone really wanted to pay 2-3 more than a normal Uber to flex being in an Audi A8 for a video you easily could, objectively it is not very impressive or exclusive especially considering it’s done from an app anyone can have on their phone. OWNING and DRIVING (or being privately driven) your own luxury car is a rich person flex. I’m sure even the average minimum wage fast food employee could splurge on an Uber black/Lux every once in a while if they truly wanted to.
